...Um, does ANYONE actually WANT that?

Think about it for a second.... You have someone who is EXACTLY like your male "bff", except for being 1) a separate individual, and 2) female. But otherwise, no difference whatsoever. Does anyone really want THAT?

Anyway, it's moot because Bailey is NOT a female version of Fox by any stretch. But now I'm curious to see where this goes, King-wise.... Certainly this isn't unprecedented, considering King's drunken flirtation with Sasha, Daisy, and Tarot.... I'm not interested in potential shipping, but in how this might lead to one or both of the King threads possibly being resolved, or at least progressing somewhat, somehow....
no one wants that. (they want their mother)

I was joking.

I knew this would be just like when Peanut and Grape went to the farm. Rick should've made it even more awkward and called her Vixen.

I can see why he made the colour change in panel three but does anyone think it doesnt fit somehow

Awww... King's got a crush. x3

And Fox's family apparently likes bandanas. :P
Kyderra wrote:O hey look, King got his second reward finally.
If it's the second reward, then the game is ending. Which means very little for the world, except that Peanut (probably) won't be stalked by Spirit Dragon anymore.

And that assumes being moved in with the wolves was the FIRST reward. Which is debatable.

While everything can be debatable, I think it's pretty apparent that the first reward, compensating for Pete's wrongdoing, would be moving in with the wolves.

If this really is the second reward, what is King going to do, stay in Kansas? Or is his reward at the end of the game really this fleeting?

I think this is just a simple crush.

This can't be the second reward the Great Kistune mentioned because it would only happen at the END of the game.
JageshemashFTW wrote:I wonder how the King of Hearts fans will react to Bailey?
Bailey won't have a deep significance in this arc since Rick said this arc wouldn't be significant. So I'm not worried. Buuuuuuut, I would like some kind of animeish triangle. SashaxKingxBailey. But this is as far as I'll mention pairings here.

Just because this arc "won't be significant" doesn't mean he doesn't have a crush on Bailey. Also, Sasha may still bee too attached to Bino for anything serious in King of Hearts (yet).

I really don't think anyone really expects something permanent; shipping wise with King, to happen in this arc. I sure don't.

I agree that this likely isn't one of the mentioned rewards, but GK did say "Plenty of rewards." He only specifically mentioned when two would come. There were others to be earned.

Just how many more early-bird cameo are there for each character that weren't properly introduced?

The other creepy friend of Joey is one.

Pretty much depend how much role Bailey will be in for the audience (and King) to experience.

Top hats and all?

Hot dang!

Also: I like King in the sense that he is a human inside the body of a dog and anything awkward that happens to him is awesome humor in my book.

If this current comic is anything to go by, I would find it awesome if King's human standard ideas failed for the best of reasons.

I wonder how Fox might react if he discovers King fancies his cousin:
Would he get jealous?
Would he make some great noble stand against King in "defence" of Bailey?
Or would Fox actively encourage them, pushing King into a corner in the process?
Maybe even Bailey might make the first move. She did call him "cute", after all.

The possibilities are endless.
