I assume Rick is using it to mean "crazy," which from my understanding originates from a slang variation of "drunk" involving a certain nonalcoholic substance starting with "cr-." Presumably Spot (superdog) was using the far less literal meaning of the word, because Rick thought it would sound funny.

I got the full list of possible meanings, all with drunk, one of them was with
the "cr-" you mentioned.

In all honesty I just assumed crunk was what happened when pets drink too much orange soda. You know c(itrus)(d)runk.
