You could go for comedy black enough that it's classifiable as horror.

Comedy and horror aren't the same, but they're also not mutually exclusive. Humor in what seems to be an inappropriate situation can often be more unsettling than none at all.

Additionally surprisingly realistic, as humor is often a natural coping measure to a traumatic situation.

We're moving into a knew home, we're squatting it, and repairing it, but the day before yesterday night the
car crashed into the communal house here (the same commune that's kicking us off!). so we have no real
transport an I was stuck in the squat last night...
