I don't think the weeping angels can return. In The Crack with Amy, they got sucked into the crack and wiped from existence. The Doctor explained that they never existed and never will, and that they only remember because their time travelers... or something like that.
I don't think the Weeping Angels are coming back, but I'd love to see the Vash Nerada show up again with a bigger part.

No, those Weeping Angels never existed. There are still more. Like the ones in the trailer for the next season. :3
Re: Doctor Who
Actually, if you remember correctly, the universe was rebooted based on Amy's memory. That's how the Doctor was able to come back, even though he was supposed to be sealed off on the wrong side of the cracks. Well, Amy can remember the Weeping Angels, so they came back.Mareks wrote:I don't think the weeping angels can return. In The Crack with Amy, they got sucked into the crack and wiped from existence. Plus there are two shots of Weeping Angels in the trailer for Series 6 part 2.

Today's episode had a few good laughs in it, but darn do they know how to creep you out while still giving you a refreshing view of the good side humanity can have.
Re: Doctor Who
Just watched "The God Complex". Wow, that was a great episode. Also, a great sendoff for Amy and Rory.

Re: Doctor Who
Oh cool. Someone made a thread about this. Doctor who's my absolute favorite TV series. I've watched every single episodes in the highest quality available about 1.5 times. (haven't watched them all twice xD) Since I don't have BBC America I had to acquire the shows by alternative means. Love the doctor, the silence and the daleks. They're so funny. And cool.
Now, for one of my favorite scenes.

Re: Doctor Who
Dude, I started watching Doctor Who in July cuz I know a bunch of furries like it, and it's such a classic sci-fi institution.
After having seen the first 4 seasons of the new series, plus 3 from season 5 and most of the specials in between, I'm absolutely hooked! I love the sheer adventure of the show, the thrill of visiting other worlds and times, and how each regeneration of the Doc has his own unique personality and attitude.
I've even dressed as the 11th Doctor on multiple occasions. He's my favorite, but since I've yet to see a single episode of the classic series as well as the entirety of the 1996 movie, that could change.

I agree with RC, that's awesome. XD
Doctor Who is just so epic and adventurous, maybe even whimsical, and at the same time, it can have the air of revenge and seriousness... And then the Doctor cracks a joke or brings out some crazy smart plan. I can't wait for it to be back on!~

Re: Doctor Who
I wonder for how much longer the series are going to go on. I believe it's going to be scheduled to be 1 more season at least. Though the doctor has only one regeneration left for he's at the11'th.(and time lords can regenerate no more than 12 times)

Re: Doctor Who
Your logic is flawed.
They have 12 regenerations. That means their original life... plus 12. Two doctors left~

I really hope I don't come across as racist here.
Oh fudge, Firefox crashed and took with it this big, long post I was typing. *sigh*
So now that Matt Smith's going to do only one more season, it's time to guess whom he'll regenerate into!
I think if the Starship Enterprise can have a black captain, than surely at some point the Doctor's skin would turn darker during a regeneration and someone who isn't white would play him. I have a couple actors in mind if this happens:
Kunal Nayyar, aka Raj Koothrappali on The Big Bang Theory. Born in London, so he's eligible. And as Raj he has a very distinctive manner of dress. Either he'd have to get his Big Bang and WHO production schedules to match up, or we wait til Big Bang ends some years in the future and he's the 13th Doc.
Idris Elba has said that he wants to be the next James Bond, but the Doctor is orders of magnitude cooler. And despite his dramatic roles, he's apparently a really funny guy IRL. The role of the Doc requires some wit, silliness, and childlike wonder in addition to some seriousness and angst.
Other than them, I think Martin Freeman, aka Arthur Dent, Tim Canterbury, and (soon) Frodo Baggins might be an interesting Doctor:
And Craig Ferguson. Man, the guy is a huge Whovian, and if he kept his natural Scottish accent, he could be the first Doc to wear a kilt!
What do you all think?

Well from what I have heart, there's a lot of people who want Rupert Grint as the next Doctor.

I would be more likely to watch the show more often if it were Craig Ferguson, but I think he has said that he wouldn't be able to maintain Doctor Who and the Late Late show at the same time.

Re: Doctor Who
Does anyone actually know if they ever made any episodes of the 8th doctor? I saw the movie with the master in it where number 7 died and turned into number 8 and then boom next episode I ever saw was rose and christopher eccleston as number 9. Surely as number 8 was the doctor when the time war happened they would show it as an awesome movie but I haven't even seen a single episode with him so far.
Also, when are new episodes coming out? I wants to see!

Re: Doctor Who
Well you see, when the TV movie was made, Doctor Who had already been off-air for six years. Then the show continued to be off-air until the series revival in 2005. So the 8th Doctor had no proper series episodes.Wolfy wrote:Does anyone actually know if they ever made any episodes of the 8th doctor? HOWEVER. He did go on to do many audio dramas, which from what I've heard are quite good. You might want to try finding them.
Also, new WHO episodes will start this fall.
Re: Doctor Who
This reminds me that I still need to get around to watching the last few seasons. I finished season one (of the reboot), then started an episode or two of the next season and haven't had a good opportunity to sit down and watch the rest.

They pop up on youtube from time to time. Mostly because of their length. I that "Time Crash" is there.

So I'm watching the Fourth Doctor, and man does this guy suck at not getting captured. Like just about every freaking episode he gets knocked out and locked up or tied up some where. Its actually become funny at this point really. Other then that he is awesome though.

Apparently Soufle girl is going to be the new assistant. I haven't watched the most recent episode so i dont know how close this is coming to light. i'm not really a fan of Karen Gillan...Amy Pond never struck a chord with me....and it felt like the writers had 20 minutes to fill in the Dalek prison episode so they threw that breakup storyline together in a last minute brainstorm, so yea, not much more point to her being there....so this new development suits me fine, she was quite quirky
