Heh, I know exactly what you mean. I felt like I was 11 again.

Normally I don't get up early on Saturdays, but when I do, it's for My Little Pony.

I LOVE THE NEW EPISODE I WANT IT TO HAVE MY KITS.

Discord is so awesome. And chocolate rain. And the whole scene where Discord took away Fluttershy's kindness... the whole room was laughing hysterically. So good. I can't wait until the second one!

(Oh yeah, a friend and I went together to a party for this with strangers. They had awesome decorations and party hats and cake and cupcakes and awesome stuff. They were actually pretty normal people.)

i watched it alone. forever alone. there aren't enough people in israel who like mlp to have those kinds of gatherings. but i'm slowly converting. i'v already converted 5, and there are 5 people who i may have also turned in to bronies. soon enough i shall make israel a poniful place.

that is pretty odd. now that i think about it, which one is the smartest among them? oO
sweetie belle is, as you say, dim.
applebloom is a farmhand or something.
and scootaloo is a "rebel" who doesn't really care about learning.
(these are all guesstimations)

To be honest they are all very meh in terms of intellegence. Sweetie isn't dumb as much as she's just slower. Applebloom is pretty average for what you expect from kids their age. Scootaloo is just completely reckless I really have no idea.

Applebloom is sort of the brains of the group because she's more level headed than scootaloo, but not as timid as hesitant as Sweetie Belle.

Good observation there, exranio. Ya know, I'm still all confused by the CMC's arguing at the start of the episode. Especially when I remember back to The Stare Master episode and recall Sweetie Belle chasticing Apple Bloom and Scootaloo for arguing.

i remember, the third time i saw that episode i was like "omg, how did i not notice the totally cute, unique and amusing way she's saying that!?". did you ever listen to HOW she says it? that tone is so... unique! i love it! something similar to that is how her older sister, rarity, says "too" in the song "art of the dress". she says to RD "aren't you going to tell me to change something too?". that "too" is amazing! i love good voice acting.

Discord is awsome, I agree.
But I didn't like the episode in general. Why? The brainwashing. If Discord had managed to CONVINCE THEM to act OOC, then it would have been awsome. But he just used his magic to do so. It was a weak plot device, especially when we know he'll be defeated by the deus ex at the end of the next episode.

He did convince them. He used his magic to use illusions to his advantage, but still. He didn't just brainwash them magically.
