Although i really shoudln't be commenting this late at night, seeing Itsuki going to a auto mechanic for work reminds me of that M.A.S.H episode wherea bus of people find a Korean P.O.W and they couldn't understand what he was saying, but when he unexpectedly fixed the Bus when noone onboard could, he became everyone's best friend on the Bus.

Heh well this promises to be silly, and we get to learn a bit more about the human characters it looks like which is good. Happy Birthday Rick!

You know, this answers some questions about Pet's rights, doesn't it? If a tanuki is a foreign exchange student, then maybe pets and animal can go to universities or something? I know it is a big jump, but still....

I wonder if he can do all this only (go to a University have his family (which are also Tanuki and not humans I'm assuming here) own a business) because Tanuki's are considered a Japanese Citizen. Or if Japan just allows at least the University part for all animals?

Edit: I wonder if we consider Bald Eagles (or any type of animals at all if not them) to be American citizen for that matter?

He's from Japan, so I'm pretty sure it'd apply to any animal that was born there.
