For the love of Tarot, why can't we have anything go right for episode 4? Due to massive Hard Drive corruption, We've lost Ep. 4, I'm trying to recover from backup. If I am unable to recover, we will re-record ASAP and label it as Ep. 5, as 4 seems to be an unlucky number for HP!R.

Edit: You can follow http://www.facebook.com/pages/Housepets ... 0759329470 for news and updates, as they can and will be posted there first.

Hello All, I'm wondering, what would our listeners like us to talk about in episode 5?

We need to know before the 22nd, as we will be recording on the 23rd!

You guys should save the episodes on a disc, USB or/and send it to some who can be trusted just to avoid confusions and such... experiences.

Brilliant! Fantastic! A triumph of modern podcasting!
And that guest host, eh? Phwoar! He's a bit of alright, ain't he!

But yeah, I did really enjoy taking part and listening to that. Great job, and I can tell that you're already getting better at these, both on the hosting side and the editing (probably more-so on the editing side. Having been there I could obviously tell how much you removed, but it was mostly seamless if you're not expecting anything, so well done!)
If you'd have me again I'd be more than happy to take part :)

Hah, thanks for the honourable mention guys! I'm happy to report that I have my reliable old laptop back now, so I should be able to join in on the next one (although I've just thought... I hope my connection at Uni is good enough to hold Skype calls at recording quality)

As far as your mention of adverts, I should point out that as a voice actor hopeful I would be glad to act out any scripts people want to write (or, if I have the time, write one myself. I'm also an aspiring writer, so... yeah) so feel free to direct any incoming advert ideas my way :)

Finally, a note on the episode itself; I enjoyed it, but don't forget, try to keep the pace up and the amount of in-jokes down :)

Oh, and it was nice to hear Kyderra do the introduction. Have you managed to get anyone else to record any?

Just to let you know (since you mentioned it) I have no idea if HP!RS is stalled due to Zander or Obbl. Obbl seems to have disappeared, and I have no idea if it was before or after recording his lines.

I'm not sure but... was my question so badly written that you had problems with reading it? If yes then I'm deeply sorry for that :) English is not my first language.

And the old strip I was talking about can be found here
This caught my interest as I saw this. Mr. Griffin also mentioned those drawings in his interview for The Villain Next Door. That's why I was wondering does Mr. Griffin still have those strips he made when he was a kid and if he does, would he share them with us one day.

Also I think the interview was interesting. It's nice to learn something more about the artist and his work.

But there were some things that were bugging me. Sometimes when you talk there are some kind of soughs audible and it's quite difficult to understand what are you talking about. Second, I had a feeling like your program was sliced on parts. Like... first interview with Rick Griffin, then chit chat, then interview again, chit chat... In my opinion you should plan your program better, like full interview and then talk about other stuff.

However, you made some progress guys. In first episodes, you seemed like you were stage-frightened and weren't sure what to actually say. Today there were also moments where you were unsure what you should say, but it's much better from first episodes.

And about saying that you might stop podcasting... you said earlier to Mr. Griffin that thanks to him you are creative. But you shouldn't give up so fast. I know it may be hard for you, putting all tuff work into podcasting and you don't have as many listeners as you expected. But not everything comes at once with a snap of your fingers. You should keep trying and I'm sure one day you will gain higher popularity =)

I'm fine with their loose style of doing things. It doesn't matter that they start talking about random things in the middle of their interview because sometimes even professional interviews are like that. Ont the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, it's not uncommon for the guest and host to go almost an entire interview without talking about the reason the guest is on the show.

Guess it comes with likings :)
That doesn't mean I don't like HP!R, no no xD
But I still prefer when auditions sticks with linear plan, because when there are often topic switches, I loose my train of thought.
However, if that's the HP!R crew's style then I'm fine with it.

Okay, I've come to the decision of possibly changing the name of HP!R, I was thinking of "Radio Free Housepets!" (with the short name of RFHP!). Before I do anything, I need to know what our listeners (and general HP! fans) think.

Mods, if there's a way we could maybe do something like setting up a poll, please let me know.
