Quick! Someone make a 256x256 image with Peanut, Grape, and a fairly visible URL!

I think a less context-specific pose would be better. And perhaps a more visible URL. Or maybe even a "Housepets!" as well, in the standard typesetting.

If you guys want a suggestion: Try using a similar banner that we use on the Housepets forum with Peanut and Grape, except update Peanut and Grape on it. You could even use the cover of Rick's first book volume as an example.

The first logo is great (error aside) but I'd like to see that along with Peanut and Grape.

Negative money. Newspapers pay you, with hopes that your comic will help sell newspapers. For that to happen, you'd have to try to sell them on it, which Housepets! wouldn't manage. It's awesome, but it's not quite newspaper-friendly.

Well all you would have to do is take a comic, Cut out the story line and all the best parts leaving in the comedy, (that's basically taking out almost everything -_-) freshen it up a little by adding more suitable dialog (take tiger for example). And put it back in.
...

Actually ignore my idea, that would be just terrible.

I started a small Steam group. Mostly for people I play counter-strike with, but I can try to get it more known that way, too. If anyone on here has Steam and wants to join, PM me here, too.
Totally going to write saucy fan fiction about this comic one day

Oh. Well then. Still, mine will exist anyway, in case anybody ever wants to play CSS. I'll continue prodding my friends to read the comic.

I've gotten 2 or 3 more people to read the comic by playing TF2. I just go on the furry servers, Because Valve Approved Servers don't show sprays.

That's awesome. What spray do you use, specifically? I want to use one myself.

I've got a small array of sprays to use, all pertaining to Grape, since that's my identity on Steam. One of them I beefed from the flash animation on the fan art gallery here, of Grape saying "So Sue Me", so I owe thanks to the artist behind that one. My display image would be another one, which I slapped together last night. Otherwise my sprays consist of de-backgrounded comic panels from Rick's work, so that I can make them transparent in-game. I've been pestering and pestering a lot of friends to read the comic, and I think it's finally starting to pay off. The way I see it, all that the advertising has to do is get them to look at the first plot of the comic - waay back when Peanut has no batteries for his wii remote. The humor in that series of comics was enough to make me read the entire archive, and it should be enough for a lot of others, too.

**Edit** I'm commissioning some fan-art (Yeah, I can't draw so I pay people to do it for me. Is that still fan-art?) which is going to be a group image of 9 of the Housepets characters. Depending on how it turns out, maybe you can use it as a spray.

I used this one. I think it's better to use sprays that just Include a spoiler or two and with a small abbreviation that says Housepets! Most servers don't like it when people advertise. But when you have a spray like this it gets past that because its not exactly advertising. A person will walk by your spray and wonder what the spray is about or from. That when you give a small summary on what your trying to spread the word about. Be sure that you have prepared yourself for questions like: "Who is this character? Is this comic descent? Where can I find more of the artist's work?" PS, To the creator of this picture I must give you props on this.
