That comic was hilarious, Zander!
And Teh Brawler, your drawing skills are great, but uh.... it looked like a foot hand for some reason. I think it might be too long or something? Not sure.
Still great though. I liked it.

I wasn't too happy with that hand, anyways, but it's really all just practice.

Must be tough for you. My mom is blissfully unaware that 2 of her sons are furries, but knowing that even at her age, she still likes teddy bears and kawaii doubutsu, I think she'd approve =3Zander wrote: My mom is anti-furry, it would be redundant to draw her as one.
... well, unless she saw the dark side of the story, but I'll leave it at that.
Anyway, I love the comic, Zander, and it took me a while to understand the vacuum cleaner gig XD

I didn't know that, although I have encountered people who didn't like being drawn for such reasons or with modifications as how I did.Zander wrote:Lol, why would it be offensive? I take pride in how hilariously stupid my mom is :3
and it would probably be more of a right I owe to anyone I draw without permission.

Re: Art Thread
Well, from you, I consider that high praise. I can see what you're saying, and I think you're right. It really all just comes down to the fact that I'm still learning how to use photoshop correctly, and draw without looking at where the tip of my tablet pen is.NickCole wrote:I'd say it looks fine. I'd say it looks good, except that his arms are a tad short. If he put them down at his sides, they wouldn't reach his waist. But I still think you have immense talent.
Also, questioning your non-furriness, eh?

Wow hey Nick, it may look simple and sketchy, but I like it =D
Anyways, more art from meh. This is another so called commission I did for both Vee and Tobee.
I know, it's outta proportion and stuff, and my weapons look ridiculous xD. I'll try to improve tho. =3

I found a blue pencil yesterday and got overexcited about it.
If you're wondering what my drawings look like when they're not fanart, but rather aliens and toasters, it's something like this.
I dun messed up the feet here, you might notice our fellow on the left is floating about a half inch off the ground.
I also colored it, in grays and actual colors, but I kind of prefer the uncolored one just because I don't like my pen lines.

Reading through Housepets!, Sofa Wars, and Freefall has made me seriously consider making my own comic.
Though I should definitely finish my other artistic and writing projects first.
Curse me and my easy loss of motivation. But regardless, I like that strip, Brawler. It's funny and the same time, it's a convenient way to make sure you keep a schedule.
*giggles* Last but not least, Nick, I very much identify with your art at some points.

So, here's something I did yesterday:
I liked how the shading turned out, but there's a lot that really could be better. I'm still trying to figure out Gimp. Pay no attention to theman behind the curtain the pixelation and crappy background. Or the awkward hand.

I'm not really sure where to post this, but I'm guessing this might be the one.
Well, I was dabbling on the idea of drawing a fursona for myself, and with help and guidance from Sleet and Psykeout, I managed to draw him!
It's a bit too big to post here, so here's the dA link.
Erm, why am I feeling so shy about this one? My face's heating up as I was uploading the picture and typing this....
Edit: I almost forgot, I would like to express my gratitude to Sleet and Psykeout for their help with this. Thanks, guys/gals =3

Coatl, Box, Shades, and KW, those are all very nice.

Shades, I think I stole that Writer's Block from you. *giggles* And last but not least, Kurowolfe, you otter be proud of yourself.
