actually, there are a few channels that have limited commercials during the movies they show and just dump a lot of commercials between it and the next movie. I like those channels.

It's a joke on "
root canal", which in this context is a
dental operation.
Funny enough, I'd never thought of the kangaroos as speaking with Australian accents.

Well they have to speak in an obnoxiously stereotypical one when there are visitors around. That doesn't mean they can't speak with a more realistic one when they're alone.

I'd assumed that they were the same two kangaroos, just that they weren't given names.
Or, you know what would be better, maybe they clone them. That'd make for an interesting strip for sure, a giant council of 300 copies of the same two kangaroos.

I rate this my all-time favourite one-off. <3
Seriously, Peanut's reaction alone is worth it.

Tarot and Dragon are fighting! That must happen a lot. Also Peanut seems rather creeped out about it.

Rick is drawing from his own experiences, I see. also, making the distinction between Tarot and Spirit.

I love this. Because the punchline didn't take place in the fourth panel for me. It's like there are five panels. 1, 2, 3, 4, and then looking closer at 3. It's ever so avant-garde. *sips overpriced coffee*
