Anywho, what does your name mean? Everyone's name has some sort of meaning. My name, Cale, means thin or slender. It is an english name, and I live up to it!

Well, I would say forum and/ or real, but there is a thread for forum name meanings, so I think diss wouldn't like us discussing that.

Steven - Crowned One
Uriah - God is my light.
Patrick - Nobleman
And my last name is an English place-name recorded in the Domesday Book as Hwerflas, basically meaning 'circles.'

*bows* My liege.
It is an awesome alternate name, you know. You should use it.
Edit: I was talking to housedog, not Diss.
Diss' names are too awesome to comment on.

oh, well, including middle namess...
Aaron - High Mountain
Robert - Bright Fame
Miller - One who grinds Grain
So, it seems my initials spell 'ARM'...and that I should be 'grinding grain on a high mountain and expect bright fame'.

Apparently my middle name, Allan, means little rock. So I am a slender, little rock. That is hilarious!

My last name? It means of fair hair or complexion. The name Blount is norman french, and apparently my family came over to England with William The Conquerer. The Blount family can trace it's origins to the Blondi or Brondi family of Italy. Never knew that one.
So I am a slender little rock with fair complexion......
You guys know it is Mother's Day, right? At least in America it is. What did you guys do for your mothers today?

Kinda fitting, given my unnatural obsession with weapons, and the tactics of war.

Apparently my last name in Etymology means "one with a sunny or warm disposition; someone associated with the season of summer".
I did, apparently, it means "The Lord is my God".
Huh.

"Elliot" has a complex history, but if it traces back all the way, it means "my God is Yahweh."

I edit my posts a lot when I'm tired, since that's when I mess up the most. Though, it only says how many times if the post's edited after someone posts.

My family tried looking up our name, we found several Gaelic names one or two letters off, but not ours, so we figured at some point somebody misspelled it.

if that is really your last name, that is awesome.Vespier Leo wrote:My last name.... Killingsworth, Is an ole english title. It was given to one of my ancestors and became the family name.... Thus it really dosen't have a second meaning.
Brent- derived from a Celtic word meaning "hill"
Colton- From an English surname which was originally from a place name meaning "Cola's town" (Cola was an Old English nickname meaning "charcoal")
Connolly- Valiant
so, apparently I'm a valiant hill in a town owned by someone nicknamed "charcoal." weird.
