Welcome to the Chat Thread!
Do not perform a role playing action unless it is included in a post that contributes to the greater conversation. The conversation should never just be a series of role playing actions.
No long-form role playing! That is to say, do not create characters or alternate personae and play out their adventures in this thread. We have an entire forum for that and the people there are very friendly. You can PM ctcmjh with any questions about that section.
Do not talk about this thread. Asking what the topic is interrupts the conversation and it's much easier (and less time-consuming) to read the last few posts. If you have nothing to add to a conversation, it's not necessary to inform everyone of that fact. Please do not post if this is the case.
Do not post greetings or salutations! You don't have to announce yourself when you enter the thread and should not derail the conversation to welcome anyone who does. It is all right to do these things if the rest of your post contributes to the conversation.
Your cooperation is appreciated. Posts that violate these guidelines are subject to deletion without advance notice.

Let's see... the last thread had about 2000 posts in 7 days... divide... carry the one... Holy mother of pi that's around 300 posts per day. Which is about one every five minutes.
Well, now we know what we need to top.

Oh, The Captain , I am well aware of the difference. I'm just not able to ascertain why Coatl_ruu is at war with either entity.

In the book, the country of Oceania was at war with Eurasia. Then, they made peace with Eurasia, denied that they had ever been at war with Eurasia, and went to war with Eastasia. Later it switches back.
Dissension took down the picture, jokingly denied that there had been a picture, then put it back up.
Ahem. Like I said. Lame joke.
Moving on, then...

One of my friends didn't realize why Pi day was March 14, they thought it was just a randomly selected date.
