Audition for Bino.

And no, that has nothing much to deal with the webcomic itself. If you want to know what it actually is, here.
It was made by one of my friends from a different forum/game.
Did we have to audition by reading a comic?
Well I don't mind if we do, I'll just make a new one.
And yes, I did send this to the OP.

there is no such thing as luck. if there was, there would surely be at least one person with all of it, and nothing bad would happen to them ever. but as far as I can tell, bad things happen to everyone.

Re: Housepets: The Radio Show
I think that your voice sounds right, the tone is very... Bino. However, you speak way too quickly and slur a lot of your words. It sounds almost like you have some gum in your mouth or something. I would suggest trying it again but being a lost slower and clearer. You sound like you have potential for the role (imo at least) but I honestly couldn't understand a lot of what you said there.NightFox wrote:Audition for Bino.

Re: Housepets: The Radio Show
I was being fast because I only have one way to record it currently.
Which is the default Windows way.
Which has a limit of sixty seconds.
But just now I realized that I edited it in Audacity.
Which has no limit.
So now I feel stupid.

Aah, but you can trick it really easily. Just record a couple seconds of silence, and then keep pressing "Decrease Speed" as many times as you like. When you have 5 minutes or so worth of silence, go back to the start and just record over itWhich is the default Windows way.

Re: Housepets: The Radio Show
Yeah, I realized that if I stopped the recording near the end, then hit record, it made the limit to 170 seconds.
I didn't think of exploiting that at the moment though, as I wasn't officially recording for the audition yet.

Anyways, yeah, Lester sounds like a good decision. Though I could imagine you as Fido if you lowered your voice a bit.

Also, as a backup, I'm going to audition for Rufus.
I'll have the better app for Bino and the app for Rufus later.
Well I might not do Rufus. Dunno.

Ooh, double awesome postAhem.
Also, the first script is finished. Voice actors, expect a PM from Kirby soon.
Although having just made an account, can I ask if there's any way to make the confirmation code any easier to read? It took me 3 attempts, and in case there is any doubt I am certainly not a spam bot
I just think some members might really struggle with it.

I've done it now,
Some people just find it difficult to spot those sort of things and to recognize them, I found highlighting the box where the code is made them a tiny bit clearer

No, it's not being dropped, we just work slowly sometimes.Tha Housedog wrote:I'm sorry if this doesn't belong here, but it's been awhile since we heard any news of this project starting...don't tell me it's been dropped!
The voice actors for the first arc have received the call, but it's not going to happen overnight (or in like 20 days apparently).
So apologies to all the people waiting eagerly for the first hint of progress on this project. It will happen. (Though we still need a Mrs. Sandwich, so the first arc can't be completed even when Grape and Peanut finish recording. C'est la vie.)

i would've, if my computer hadn't of conveniently died....ahermWouldn't it have been better to send it in yourself?
so all i used for my audition was the recorder of voice memos on my ipod, i am currently using my ipod, besides
Sourflamer's a good friend, and i used his guidance to get an acceptable sample so i figured it would be easier to send to him, and he pass it on
although reflecting upon it it does seem the awkward way around

Lulz, I remember I participated in a fandub of Pokemon Episode 1 on good ole' 4Chan some time ago, I was the TV Announcer, however we couldn't upload it on Youtube due to copyright infringement. I've sold away my mic, but what spots do you guys have open?

You can do that or read some lines from the character you want to play. You have to PM Teh Brawler with the audition, though. otherwise your audition will go unheard.CookieFritz wrote: Maybe I'll give it a try then. Should I just like post a clip of me reading an extract from a book or something?

Re: Housepets: The Radio Show
It works better if you use a line from one of the comics if you're looking for a specific character. If not, reading a line from a book or speech (like Zander did) is a good choice.
