I was all, "Gasp! Is that Spo?!"

He's so adorable (yet hard to see) in the last panel!

Spo is adorable no matter where he is. And linguistics?

Interesting thesis though. Fido looks buff here.

Fido looks exactly like Fido has always looked. His pectoral muscles have been defined since his first appearance.

I assume mice don't live very long, even if they do live longer than real ones, so I doubt he could actually do it if he wanted to.

Well taking into account the max average life of an average "fancy" mouse; which is about 2 and a half years (or 30 months) mice in this world live to be about 5 years old on average. So no, he technically couldn't, if you wanted to be serious but come on this is a comic about talking animals were talking about here.

I'm just wondering why isn't Spo writing about "Everything you say actually means "I hate cheese!" instead." He could technically write about that and not be grouchy all the time...

He's dumb enough not to figure that out, and he wants to write a doctoral thesis? What a silly mouse...

Hes trying to explain his logic for why he's always mad, he hates cheese, and all anyone else ever says means "i like cheese"

Obviously not. Spo is obviously onto something here, and we don't know it. He's writing a paper on fact, not something he can make up. No scientists ever do that!

I wonder if this'll have even a slight parody of 'Of Mice and Men'? Just putting that thought out there, considering the awesome title.

Haven't seen those two for some time :) But it's always nice to see them. Especially when they have a... conversation ;)

Panel 2 - I think Spo was never shown so close :)

But Spo is right? In those times, most people actually attempt to universities only to be someone important. They don't take the faculty that will bring them joy. They just want to get wherever is space and get the paper.

Ah, well that decreases the likeliness of a joey-squeak comic to about 0. Either way im already anxious for the next 1

I actually like Joey, too. and Lester. as an anime fan, I can relate to them (sometimes). I'd also like to learn the name of Joey's third friend.
