No, he has pupils in the last panel. They're just really small.

I hate it when this happens, but it's usually birds. At least Grape has a free meal?

Uhm, a squirrel probably ran too fast and ran straight into the window somehow.

...or it ninja'd a projection of himself on to the window, set up a speaker right behind Peanut to generate the sound!

That has to be one of the best reactions in the entire comic.

Yes, but I thought Squirrels keep there distance from houses. Also, I do understand that they do not understand glass and it's transparency. Still, the look of it kinda makes me sad. :(

Her stomping a bird, then deciding how to divide it up with Max didn't? Or her ingesting of a mouse whole? Or letting cows know how much she will enjoy chewing on their insides? Come on now. It's called nature. And she's a cat, one of the more effective and ruthless self-hunters. If nature at work ruins the comic for you, then why are you still reading? ;p

That tree climbing rodent getting up and walking away is more likely true, but to say "Omg, her eating something that isn't carefully processed past it's cute and cuddly stage would ruin the comic for me" is a bit much.

Well truthfully, I don't think that is a bit much. To a point I can take it, but if you did not notice, Dissension and me are Squirrels and for the sense that it is by far my favorite animal, I really do not think it is over-reacting. I just hope Rick never gets the idea to do that.

That's why I figured it was. Even though I know it's rationally no different than any other animal, it still makes me sad to see wild foxes get hurt, so I fully understand. Thankfully, I'm pretty sure that squirrel is going to live through this.

And I just noticed that the praise on the back cover disappeared when Peanut dropped the book.

When someone says "I am a squirrel," it's a little difficult for me to take them seriously on any end of discussion. Or maybe that's because I'm one of the few humans on this thread... If it tastes good in the afterlife I don't discriminate

On another note, who ever chucked that squirrel has a really good chucking arm

Not all the time. I alredy saw a squirrel on the edge of the livingroom's window when I was visiting friends.

I wonder how much persons fillow the twitter account of Rick for getting all the title meaning?

Also true to me, though a bit rare. I have had one somehow find a way into a box of bird seeds and was sitting in the half closed box eating. It lifted the lid every time it heard something and my mom took pictures. So cute! <3

Just replace "I'm a squirrel" with "I have an affinity for squirrels" in your head and it still makes sense and is no doubt easier to take seriously.

Aww. My parents always get mad when squirrels eat our birdseed, but the way I see it, why do the birds deserve it more than the squirrels?

Granted, birds usually don't make a mess.

The squirrels in our backyard are rather fat- both our dogs and the squirrels get much needed exercise when they are chased away.

Dylan's fursona thing is a mouse and he didn't stop reading way back with Faust.

Okay, I must admit I didn't know that Peanut was this jumpy. A simple squirrel was able to scare him so much.

But it's funny >_>
