I know the episode you're talking about, and you're right, the similarity is uncanny; but then again he also looks like Fido and Joey by extension.

EDIT: I may have misspoken earlier. I guess it would be a nice experiment, like, maybe the new characters appear in some sort of special comic or comics, but it would be hard for someone (in this case, Rick) to be forced to work a character they didn't create into any meaningful arc.

holy crap, i'm brian- except for the alchoholism- but he's also a struggling writer of fiction like me! And I tried googling myself once too! Every episode brian seems more and more similar to myself!

Not really.

There are dozens and dozens of furry comics that actively give up cameo/storyline/main character slots to the artist's friend and such as it is now. Rick has stated he has no wishes to engage in this. There has only been one cameo and will likely only be one cameo for Housepet's run. Of course this may change, but I wouldn't hold out hope. It can really start to undermine a comic that starts doing this without very good reason.
