I don't think any of the strips are creepy.

Re: Creepiest Strip.
So does anyone want to bring this up with me directly? I tend to be rough and get off-model and run with things that I'm not going to get perfect. My goodness people, the tablet PC is not the most accurate of drawing platforms. (And even though I am as used to it as I might get, I am considering doing the sketch on paper before inking in photoshop or what have you, now that I have a better scanner for that)
Also, yes the comic is weird if you overthink it. I like and am perfectly comfortable with being incredibly weird. But it's a little much to think that because I like being weird I must therefore be dragging this comic into a filthy area, as all unchecked media must do. But I'm not even getting into adult humor; this is all stuff that I'm pretty sure I've seen on Saturday morning cartoons myself. I'm not even getting within the vicinity of Ren and Stimpy, Rocko's Modern Life or Cow and Chicken and those aren't considered PG-13 media. I don't even get into Looney Toons territory most of the time.
It might be because how the beats are spaced out; after all, when I make a joke about being naked or slow-motion pillow fights, that update ends and you don't have six to twenty more minutes of media to wash that out of your brain.

So do you actually believe in your edit? It almost sounds like you're confused by your own actions.

If you're wondering how he eats and breathes
And other science facts
Then repeat to yourself "It's just a show,
I should really just relax." La la la.
If you guys are looking for perfection, you'll never be satisfied. Rick puts out a high-quality, hugely amusing comic three times per week. Publicly calling out every flaw in art or joke that could even remotely be interpreted perversely is just a little uncouth. The comic works best when you don't over-think it to death. That's not saying there shouldn't be standards, but has the comic been driven into the ground? Has it even come close to exceeding Rick's self-imposed rating? I know that even the most questionable jokes in the comic (which aren't terribly questionable in the first place) don't go as far toward pushing the rating as various folks have done in their analysis of said jokes on this forum or its associated IRC channel.

Re: Creepiest Strip.
I guess it wasn't because it's incredibly low-hanging fruit since 'creepy' was its intention; therefore if anyone honestly didn't take it that way (and not just playing for laughs) they'd be hopelessly missing the point at best, and *cough*cough*ahem* at worst. And we don't want to out people here.Teh Brawler wrote:I. WANT. TO. WEAR. HER. SKIN.

Make the comic even creepier
Re: Creepiest Strip.
I thought this thread was a celebration of the creepy rather than a criticism. I happen to enjoy a little creepiness in everything that I read. It makes things that much better.

It got turned around at the bottom of the previous page. It was a celebration before.

@ Brawler : Yes I have.
On-topic : As I've said before, I don't think there HAS been a strip that I've seen as creepy, any of them.

When I posted this thread, I didn't mean it in a bad way.
