Gmail + Trick Tutorial

So a couple people have been wanting to know how to do this. So here goes.

Set up a gmail account if you don't have one. It's just like setting up any other email account.

Then, on the gravatar website, sign up for an account like usual. Now, here's what's different.

Instead of typing your gmail account name, for ie \\[email protected], type it in like this:

\\[email protected]

It should still be recognized as a valid email. Go through setting up your avatar. Now, on the comic comment section, type in your username as usual like so:

\\bigglesworthBuddies

Now, in your email required box, use the same gmail that you did for your for your new avatar:

//[email protected]

You should now be enjoying your new avatar. Want your old one back? Simple. just type in your primary/first gmail:

//[email protected]

Enjoy!

(i had to add the // because html thought they were REAL email addresses, woops! but you don't need the // for the trick to work)

That's odd, you shouldn't need a cell phone, I didn't. I dunno what's up with that.

Is it even necessary to use GMail? Shouldn't it work with any other mail providers out there?(hotmail? or ones on your own domain)

You could try, but the trick is known to work with g-mail.
I have 18 avatars now E|:P

I don't see why it wouldn't work with any other mail provider.

Some mail providers don't support "+" at all. Some use other letters like "-" because for a long while it was common for websites to reject email addresses with funny characters in them.

I try whit the +max in a gmail , but when i coment and put mi count +max don put an image. Thanks anyway
