Hide and go Seek, lol. I was always that kid who was really cheap, and found a hiding place 30 feet away from the "base." But we got rid of base after a while.

We'd always play at night, and always at least 3 of us would just wear dark clothes and lie down on the grass, trying to be as quiet as possible.

Ctc, ctc, ctc, tsk tsk tsk. Everyone knows that you need a Gillie suit to be PRO at lying down in the grass.

Heh heh, I never liked Hide and Seek. Because I wasn't happy when I was found easily, but I felt insecure if people didn't find me quickly... Contradictory, eh?

That's nothing. In ghosts in the graveyard, I once hid under the table that was the safe zone, which is where "it" started. She looked at me right away so I just moved my paw 2 inches and was safe. :3

I do lame cheap stuff just to demonstrate how sly and witty I am and then I go and play the game the intended way to avoid spoiling the fun of it all.

Nah, I would notice how unfair it was it stop. But i would do it in irregular intervals.
Such as: Right, R , R , R , Unfair, R R R UF, R UF R R R R R UF
Stuff like that. But most of the time i play it fair. My little sister just loves playing Hide 'n' seek so...

I think Peanut is getting cuter and cuter. I'm not sure what exactly it is.

Also, I remember in the past doing some shaky math to estimate that Peanut could read a page in four seconds. Judging by this comic, that doesn't seem that far off!

No joke, i am literally the fastest reader in pretty much all my classes.
But he beats me if he can read a page in 4 seconds.

Pfft, it takes me months to read a book. Not 'cause I read slow but because I never can make myself read a ton in one sitting. It took reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone for the first time to make me do that. I finished that in a day.

Wow. Fox's question is my own. I can read fast (300 pages per day depending on how much I like it) but not THAT fast! (And I haven't read Dune yet, although I have it.)

Probably just as much as anyone else. Possibly even more; he seemed to remember page numbers in the Pridelands books.

On the subject of mad reading skillz, my great great aunt has cleared at the very least most of a library, granted over a lot longer of a time than a few weekends. She's quite old and yet not even remotely senile because of it. Reading is good for you!

Clearing the library is completely impossible for me, I would lose interest before then... o.O

Now I really want to have Peanut as a pet, I can just ask him to read the RPG rulebooks for me and have him teach me later...

From the comic I gather Peanut has savant-level reading ability. So, he probably reads a page in 4 seconds or less, and retains 93-97% of what he reads depending on the topic. Pridelands is 100% retention.

Somehow I can't imagine Peanut in a position of power. He'd be focused for about five minutes, and then his eigth-year-old attention span would kick in (And our next order of business is...Hey look, a ball!).

I admit, I lolled. But I also am kind of jealous (of a comic book character?! MAN AM I CRAZY!); if I could read that fast, then I wouldn't have to worry about my university readings. I did read Moby Dick in one night, though ^_^ Pulled an all-nighter to get that thing done and over with. Did it with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and Brisingr too.

Fox choose Peanut over Bino? Eh...in my opinion, it could happen, but it would take an entire arc or two for Fox to sort through the stuff with Bino (probably with the help of King) and then another arc or two to try and cement himself in friendlier relations with Peanut. Then there would have to be an arc on why Fox, with his high-level focus and intelligence, would have trouble adjusting to hanging out with Peanut on a daily basis. I mean let's face it, while Peanut is nuts in the awesome way (he can read Dune in a day, has a very outgoing and friendly personality, among other traits), he is also nuts in a way that Fox might regard as creepy (being a cat-lover is perhaps the epitome of this).

Causality's a within the automobile D: Or perhaps I've just put too much thought into analyzing characters in Housepets! (more than likely).

Peanut replace Bino in the GODC? Oh, Bino SO wouldn't let that happen ;D And, being his brother, I guess Fido would kind of back him up. That is, until Bino's incompetency at being a leader and Peanuts incompetency are compared, and Peanut's is less destructive xD

Reading that fast is absolutely possible. In fact, many more people could do it if they didn't habitually read at the same speed as they talk.
