Yes. While in Portugal, my mom once ordered something listed as "stone fish" in the small restaurant. She got some nice fish, with bones removed, and some sause. I've used the same logic with "stone beef". And received a piece of raw meat, sause and a hot stone! They expected me to cut small pieces of meat, and roast them on that stone It was fun, though, but unexpected - to "cook" something in the restaurant ((sorry for too many words, but I needed to explain that mistake))

Actually yes. I did two weeks at a wildlife park/zoo and there was a little sugar glider who was kept out the back because he was picked on by the others in the main cage. He was very friendly. He'd sit on your shoulder while you fed him or prepared food. His name was Geoffrey. =D

Nope. I did walk right towards a glass door because I forgot that there was a door there, and my world went black for a while. My friends, while sympathetic, couldn't help but laugh seeing me, and I joined in soon after.

Yes, humidity hit 100 and I collapsed until the room vented. Dangerous stuff, breathing in vast amounts of water.

ah yes , the boredom syndrome , I stared at the pc's desktop 1 night for like 30minutes , for....no reason

I have a friend who tried to set her DVD player up to record a TV show while she was out but accidentally ended up recording 4 hours of the manufacturer's logo bouncing around the screen (i.e. the power saving/standby screen). I still have no idea how she managed it. Or I once tried to burn a DVD and got 20 minutes of the title menu looping. *facepaw*

Yes. I was in a competition once. They gave us a device, several capacitors, batteries, wires and a multi-meter. So I was following instructions on how to connect the capacitors properly and such, recording some basic data then it came to operating the apparatus. I connected the batteries, wires and most of the equipment necessary, then went to the multi-meter to get the reading. It was zero. I used one of the settings in the multi-meter to check whether my apparatus was functional, going through the circuits and it's all connected. After struggling for 30 minutes I noticed a metal rod protruding out of the apparatus, when I touched it, it flicked; I realized that it was a switch!

yup yup , around 2004-2005 I think , middle of the night , we were play magic card games when someone placed down a ""crumbling earth"seconds before we felt it , a tiny one ,but you can imagine how much we freaked out , and then laughed afterward

Probably. There was a huuuge thunderstorm here a few months back and I watched it going out over the bay and over the island. I've no idea what it hit but it probably did get the water.
