 Re: "The Bad Translator" Thread
I translated the opening lines to "road to nowhere" by the talking heads, which go as follows:
Well we know where we're going, but we don't know where we've been. and we know what we're knowing, but we can't say what we've seen. and we're not little children, and we know what we want. and the future is certain, give us time to work it out.
the result was: But I know where we can get. But what I can not say we will do this. Our children know exactly what I wanted. Try in the future."
and because that wasn't that funny, I translated: I have ADHD and am somewhat addicted to television.
and got: And TV is not good.

I started with something insane: -I have invented contraceptive pies! Translator: -How can i get pregnant, bam!
Other versions of this: I have a pregnancy, crepe find a way to stop it! I have a pregnant, crack to find a way to stop it! I crack it to find out how to stop, have a pregnancy!
Stg random: -Follow me for i know the way! Translator: -Yes, i know.
Stalin: -Education is a weapon whose effects depend on who holds it in his hands and at whom it is aimed.
Translator: -The choice of weapons training.
Stalin: -If any foreign minister begins to defend to the death a "peace conference," you can be sure his government has already placed its orders for new battleships and airplanes.
Translator: -Minister of State for establishing a peace conference in the death of the United States, new blood vessels and the weather starts to deteriorate.
Gandhi: You must be the change you want to see in the world. Translator: -Iran is the key to change the world.

 Re: "The Bad Translator" Thread
This comic was created with the Bad Translator This was made using the maximum 56 translations, except for Peanut's dialog balloon in panel 2 because the end result was in characters my computer can't reproduce. I used 50 for that one.

 Re: "The Bad Translator" Thread
Here, I started with a long piece of text and challenged the translator to boil it down to one word. This will take more than 56 translations, so I'll post every 56th:
I didn't get to one word like I hoped, but I got stuck in two words, for a long time I would project. So, I declare the winning word "kalunhansen".

I put in "screw the rules, I make them."
I got... ah... " '[CENSORED]' the '[REDACTED]' ".
Let's try something else, then.
"To death, and the world's ending! Charge!"

"เสียชีวิตที่สิ้นสุดของโลก! Try it!"
Umm... one more time. "I think that my virtual peasants are plotting a virtual rebellion against my regime."
became
"I think the real revolution in energy production." That's more like it. :3
