“Otto, you are relieved of duty!”

Fifth letter after J, utter words so as to convey information, are you capable of perceiving using your eyes, by the first appearance of light in the sky before sunrise’s source of illumination occurring near the beginning of the day.

O say can you see by the dawn's early light.

we are quite familiar with the concept of romantic feelings. you are fully aware of the guidelines to which we are required to adhere, as am i.

We're no strangers to love. You know the rules, and so do I.

Counting backwards from the number the corresponds to X in roman. Themed teen heroes on an interstellar trajectory!
Calibrate and lock input device to target distant celestial bodies immediately,
become airborne at altitudes not previously achieved,
Themed teen heroes in a stable orbit.

double double toil and trouble

----

a millenia prior, belief in that for which there is only anecdotal evidence and hearsay combined with a sharpened metal edge were means unto political esteem and influence.
chronologically it was less than ideally illuminated, a generation beset upon by phobia and paranoia, a planet comprised of artistically decorated waterspouts meant to minimize the erosion of stone constructions.

I think it's something to do with "A thousand years ago" and "the dark ages" but I can't work out any more than that...
Anyone else have any ideas?

"1000 years ago, superstition and the sword ruled, it was a time of darkness, it was a world of fear, it was the age of Gargoyles"

It's the opening narration of Disney's Gargoyles TV show.

"Engaging in one's nightly rest at a time before the common norm and thus also awakening likewise will impart enhanced constitution, material assets, and spiritual capacity."

"Early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise"

(Hint: movie quote)

a task undertaken for the sake of one's home country, first name of the protagonist?
Negative response, I am doing this entirely for myself.

Ok, so the 2nd line is definitely "No, this is personal." Which limits it to every action flick ever made :P

The first line is someone asking "Doing your duty, Name?" or something like that. I know I've seen more than one film with either these lines or something close to it, but I can't narrow it down enough to get the exact quote.

Can I get another hint?

lets try something simpler...

Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong.

A pair of people including yourself, the past version of the first experience of being directly in light, going somewhere, manufacturing events that will be recorded for some to see.

(Note edited in: I didn't have an expression to write when I first saw the James Bond over complication.)

yeah, if Zesortinge had made an error i would have popped up to critique it.
you're trying to solve theirs now.

besides your solution was wrong lunar, its much too long.

as to the new one, it seems to start with "You and I" and end with "making history" but i can't decipher the middle part.
