Overly Complicated Expressions

The aim of this game is to guess the common phrase/idiom/proverb/saying/expression from the overly-complicated and overly fancy way that the person before writes it.

E.g.
Player 1: "One member of class aves located in the metacarpo-phalangeal region is equal in value to two members of the same class located in a small to medium sized botanical specimen."
Player 2: "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush."

If you get it right you get to create the next overly complicated expression!

Here's the first challenge:

"Each member of genus Rosa is in possession of a cortico-epidermal extension."

Good luck!

You're on the right track, NAF, but not quite there!

Yours is "birds of a feather flock together".

Mine is still the one before that's yet to be solved. I edited it a little to make it more obvious.

"Should you be experiencing an influx of endorphins and should you be aware of this fact please indicate this sonically via the striking together of your metacarpophalangeal regions."
