that isn't autocorrect, that's the censor. It activates when you try to say a word you shouldn't.Render wrote:7, I just tried to google OUUMTG, but only ****...
WB Gecko!
lol, the forum just autocorrected the word for poop of male cows into 4 stars.
and your cipher was still way t00 involved for my tastes. it was like those puzzles with no border and 5 extra pieces -_-;
that's all well and good if you're actually making a cipher you don't intend to be solved, but for a game, it was too much to be fun.

3, ever heard about WasGij-puzzles? The box shows something different from what you have to puzzle. That's a little weird.
Here you have to puzzle what the moose can see:
And here you have to puzzle how this scene will look like in many years:
---
So the forums automatically censors my text. Will I also be banned automatically if I write the bad word with the f?

no. We don't have anything that automatically bans a user. all banning is done personally by a global moderator.Render wrote:So the forums automatically censors my text. Will I also be banned automatically if I write the bad word with the f?
plus, as long as you don't try to avoid the forum's censor by, for example, intentionally misspelling the bad word or replacing one of the letters with an asterisk, you're fine. It shouldn't be obvious what word you intended to use, unless by context.

((wow, I've been typing for a long time...))
2, the worst puzzle I've ever SEEN was one of these '3-d' things, when you get a sphere or a pyramid with a picture as a result.
I've heard about the ones that have differently-shaped pieces of the same colour, but they have edges and have no extra pieces and, as far as I know, were not selling really well here.
And this 'reversed' puzzle just finishes blowing my mind up.

of course, since the censor doesn't understand context and also censors when a misspelling of a bad word is part of a longer word, you can't talk about Richard's collection of weapons without it becoming Dick's Arsenal

3, carrying on with the topic of puzzles of all kinds
I've actually remembered the thing that was terribly complicated for a 7-year-old me.
I hope everyone knows these little games where you have to tilt a small maze with the ball inside so it would fall through the needed hole?
Soviet toy factories took this fun thing to the completely new level by stacking 10-12 of these things upon each other, forming a transparent cube somewhere in the early 70's.
Actualy it was quite fun, but I didn't realise it 10 years ago

a nickname for Richard, which is also in the name of a sporting goods store in the USRender wrote:1, What is Richard's collection of weapons?RandomGeekNamedBrent wrote:of course, since the censor doesn't understand context and also censors when a misspelling of a bad word is part of a longer word, you can't talk about Richard's collection of weapons without it becoming ****'s *****
and a word for a collection of weapons which is also an English football team and the last word in the subtitle of the third Ratchet and Clank game, the first 4 letters of which are a common misspelling of another word for the rear end.
I literally can't be any clearer than that because of the censor

well you got the right word.
I'm currently asking other mods if it counts as censor evasion if the word shouldn't have been caught by the censor.
It isn't

relax, Diss. It doesn't have to do with the counting game, but hasn't reached the point where it's stealing business from the chat thread.
however, Gecko, I do suggest that you make a forum game with ciphers.

Running out of ideas may be a risk.
It can't be so slow. I think, that at least we two will join that game. And if it takes a few days to solve, than it takes a few days... doesn't matter.VEB152 wrote:2, he has said that he's afraid of both running out of ideas and the fact that the game will be quite slow... 4, I was thinking of making one for ciphers and puzzles in general. When would you want to make it? XD
Oh, I've finished my GECKOder. It's just a console-based executable and it's pretty easy to use, I think.

how about having "...a slice of riddles and a cup of code tea"? I guess it needs too be a bit... ...pun-ny?
