Alright, so I looked in the forums to see if a game like this existed. As far as I can see, it does not. If it does, feel free to remove this thread.

So, basically the idea of the game is to write a story one sentence at a time, with each sentence being from a different poster. The point is to create some sort of continuous story (no matter how weird it gets) and to have some fun with our imaginations. Be as strange as you want or as serious.

For example:

Poster 1: It was a cold afternoon, and the clouds hid the sun.
Poster 2: This was just the kind of day officer McDowel hated.
Poster 3: Days like this reminded him of how difficult it was being a meatball in a meatless world!

The only thing you have to worry about is continuing the story and seeing where it goes! The only rule (in addition to the basic forum rules) is that you can only post ONE SENTENCE at a time. Using semicolons to string two sentences together is cheating!



So, to begin the story:


To those who knew him, Robert was your average delivery boy.

But if they knew what he knew, they'd know he was anything but.

Anywhere but here... That was what he was thinking when was kissing her girlfriend.

For he was in the middle of a ritual to grant himself supernatural powers.

Late at night, he would walk to the forest with a strange bag in his hands.

The smell of eggs in that bag was simply nauseating.

He took the eggs out of the bag, but then realized something terrible.

One of them has hatched and the snake was trying to eat the other eggs.

how a snake came out of a chicken egg was a mystery to Robert.

so he ran away as fast as he could until he tripped

he had tripped over a dragon's tail.

He looked straight up into the dragon's eyes

the dragon said to Robert, "who dares disturb my slumber?"

And Robert responded "the guy that ran that way!" and he ran in the opposite direction.

the gullible Dragon never did find the guy that tripped over his tail.

But perhaps this was because he spent all of his time baking cookies instead of actually looking.

for you see, the dragon was a world class baker known as Drake LeDrake.

Some argue that the very idea of a baking dragon is silly and unrealistic, he disagrees.

he was especially good at creme brule. you know, because of the whole fire breathing thing.

With his skills he lead a pleasant, but empty, life.

it was empty because, no matter how famous he was, he couldn't find a nice female dragon to settle down with.

One day, he saw a story on the DragonNewsNetwork about how an old crush of his had entered the Super-Ultimate Mega Chef of the Universe tournament.

he was conflicted as to what he should do. he was in the competition, too, be cause he felt he should venture beyond baking. he didn't know whether to show his true talents and see if he could be a good all around chef, or if he should let her win if he ended up facing off against her.

"What am I saying!!", he shouted, "I own the best bakery in Wyvern City!! I'll win this tournament, and she'll be so impressed with my cullinary skills that she'll have to fall in love with me! That makes sense, right?" Sure it does Drake, sure it does.

but he had no Idea how wrong he was. yes, she'd respect him for beating her and they'd fall in love, but in what world does that make any sense?

At this moment, Robert who was portrayed as the protagonist of the story was only leading the story to Drake.

but now we leave Drake to go back to Robert. we know how Drake's story ends already.
