When I was younger, I was enticed by Nickles. I hardly ever see them, so I made my mom pay me a nickle instead of a quarter when I did a certain job for her.
Made less money, but hey! Nickles!

When I was younger, there were only videocassettes: VHS and Beta.
Video games meant the Atari--unless they were COMPUTER games, and those were all on floppy disks, which required DOS (no mouse, no icons). And the graphics stunk, as did the music.
And there were only double-digit TV channels, and TVs weren't so big.
And music and sound recordings were vinyl records and audiocassette tapes.
