Describing Game of DOOM

Ok, my first ever new topic!
This is a game I play sometimes, it's rather fun.
It's where, you pretend you're an alien, or someone new to Earth, and you're trying to describe something (an every day object) to your friend, who is also new to Earth.
You describe it, put what it is in a spoiler tag, and then the person after guesses what it was. Then they go.
RULES:
No big words like carbon dioxide or sapphire. (You have never been to earth and you don't know much about it.)
It has to be an every day object, such as a stool or a dog.
Ok, I'll start.
A small creature with a lot of hair on it. It has a long tail and large ears. It has very large teeth, and is good at chewing through things.
It is a mouse.
