well I usually don't show any emotion when it come to bad news , as long as you don't laugh at it....beside , you don't feel pain , so what's the big deal ?

Granted it is only emotional pain, physical pain still hurts. But technically I can empathize without showing it, in a social context not showing group emotion makes people wonder why your not as soppy as then. But then why would that be an issue to the likes of me, whom cares very little about such pointless opinions?
