Just because we are the thunderstorm capital of america, have more tornadoes per square mile than any other state, and are the most hurricane-prone state does not mean that it's dangerous. I mean, texas has more tornadoes than any state, and they get their fair share of hurricanes as well.

btw everyone who was discussing the Florida gator. They are in the wild , and they do occasionally show up in residential areas, though that is rare unless you live near a body of water that they inhabit. The town that I live in happens to have a few "gator-infested" lakes in it, but as long as you stay clear they don't bother you.

Oh, and beagle; I live in northern Florida, the temperature gets down to the fifties( and rarely the forties) as a high in the dead of winter. That still isn't all that bad, though.
