If I'd kept up with my post-graduation plans to report for a technology Web site, I'd've been able to attend E3 this year. xD

To me g4 has been losing its luster. Many of its shows are non gaming related and they often overshadow the ones that are.

Xbox slim.

Okay, it looks awesome. That's great.

I already have an xbox I don't care.

Why would you buy something you already own? It's just a slightly improved case; that's ALL. Case design should have changed a year and a half ago when they found that it overheated to the point that the graphics chip basically melted. I might buy it the next time my Xbox RROD's again (since it will undoubtedly happen) but otherwise, I'm not dropping another $300 I don't have on something I already have.

Make an Xbox with more graphics, a processor, memory that doesn't cost four times as much as it does for a computer, and doesn't RROD, and then you'll have me interested.

Kinect (formerly project Natal), on the other hand, has me a bit more interested. Microsoft's answer to the Wii, no doubt. However, it does SEEM quite advanced, and there's a significant drop in the chance where a remote flies through a TV screen. Course, we're gonna need some good game support for it, or it won't fly. It's an accessory after all. If they can rig it so that you can pull a trigger and fire your gun at someone on the screen though...I'm probably sold.

Sly Cooper Collection, YAY!
Perhaps Sly 4 isn't an unlikely dream after all :D.

The whole Nintendo press conference had me giggling like the fanboy I am.
I haven't bothered looking at the Xbox conference, but are they releasing a single game that isn't an FPS?
Do they believe the slim will actually fix the hardware problems?
My Xbox 360 Elite got a RROD 2nd day out of the box... playing Halo 2.

Microsoft isn't scoring a lot of points with me lately ^^;

The games at E3 I'm really interested in are Portal 2, Legend of Zelda: The Skyward Sword, and Red Orchestra: Heroes of Stalingrad.

The Sly Cooper collection interests me to an extent, but since I don't own a PS3 and most probably never will, it's no use for me to anticipate it. =P

Wow, of all the #3 announcement, I am not one bit exited for a game to come out.
there all Generic FPS, sequels, or things that look like they will cost full retail for something like a 2D plat former.
except for portal, but I knew that was coming before E3

hang on.. whats this, a spark of interest i just found?:

Total graphic card melting goodness.
I doubt even my PS3 could handle graphics like that rendered in gameplay.
Perhaps there is some room for improvement in game consoles besides cheap gimmicks?

So, yeah, those graphics were face melting. However, it occurred to me that, because there were no people in that video, this could actually ruin the game. If the character rendering and animation isn't as good as these graphics, and they've already shown us the best, the game could tank pretty quickly. Of course, there are other factors to consider, but that's just my thinking.

Gonna say it, all my opinion in 1 post! These are the things that caught my eye, but there are more. Loads more.

LoZ: skyward sword: I like the gameplay, but I don't like the style. It looks too happy! I like the dark, realistic setting of LoZ: Twilight Prnicess. On the over hand, as long as I'm not on a boat or a train I'll be happy!
Unigine Heaven - beautiful graphics. I'm gonna need to see some gameplay first before you get my full oppinion.
Project Natal/kinect. Looks...better then my first thought on it. I still like the idea of pushing a button, but some of the things on it are kind've nice!
Assasins Creed: Brotherhood. Just wow. No gameplay yet, but it is a nice cinematic! It is coming out for Xbox360 right? Seems like it, but all the trailor's are showing PS3.
MGS: Rising. Wow. I'm really impresed here. Vissually it looks great, and gameply looks really great as well! So far, this is my choice for the best game shown at E3. I'm gonna cut eavrything!
Portal 2: Movie looks really good! Not sure how the story will continue to be honest.
