Animated fur

This is a thread for animated cartoons and anime that feature anthropomorphic characters.

To get the ball rolling, here is a recent discovery I made. This show was not readily available outside of Japan, so there is no official sub or dub of it, but a fan from Australia has made a good fan sub of it. This is an anime series that is sort of a male version of "Sailor Moon" called "Beast Warriors Gulkeeva". Its about a young man who is the reincarnation of a legendary warrior and three anthropomorphic animal knights that help him to keep Earth safe from extra-dimensional invasion.

The first part of the first episode:

Episodes 5 and 6 are fun because of the character Melody tries to get a little to friendly with the furries.
Ep. 5

Ep. 6

Episode 18 is a bitter sweet tragedy.

So, what is everybody watching?

I had never heard of Beast Warriors Gulkeeva, but I have to say that after watching the episodes you posted, I'm beginning to like it. :D I'll check out some more episodes when I get the chance.

The only anthro shows that I watch are Kung Fu Panda, Madagascar Penguins, Tuff Puppy, And Regular Show. Nothing really special like Beast Warriors Gulkeeva.

I kind of stumbled across it. I sat and watched all of it over the course of a week or so. It was surprisingly good! Its a shame it never had an official release here in North America. It is from the same company that did "Gundam", so they could have rode that success of that.

Regular Show is awesome. Its amazing that it is presented as a kid's show considering the content and the jokes.

Also, congradulations on your 600th post!

I just watched the rest of episode 1 and 2, and I have to say that I'm impressed with it. You're right, it should have had the same success as Gundam. It's a shame, really.

And thanks for congratulating me! I hadn't realized I had hit the 600 mark! :D

Here is another example of more obscure anthro animation. Only part of this film was broadcast and then it lapsed into obscurity. It has since become a cult classic of the furry fandom.
