Okay, I'll break the ice... I just made this little quickie after reading today's strip. Yes, the left leg is kind of missing, but considering what it is, you can see why I'm too scared to finish it... Happy early Halloween everyone...

Here's a birthdaypic I drew for Ryusuta

hey, here's a challenge, everyone draw Halloween costumes for their characters. all of em. preferably before the end of the month.

... that's a lot of characters. even limiting it to RP characters and the original characters from my fan fic leaves me with probably over 20... plus I can't draw well...Buster wrote:all of em.
but dangit, now I wanna try.
Re: Art Thread
Very nice draw, Hukley, and Happy Birthday to Ryusuta. Good sketch, dryideabat. Sounds weird, but doing a little effort, you may find it cute... Because of the ears, probably. Yeah, fortunately King's and Bailey's pups won't come in that way.

Re: Art Thread
This came from a funny conversation about squirrels. I'm pretty certain there would be no squirrel left if she pulled the trigger on that elephant gun right then . . . in the real world, but this is a cartoon, so the gun will probably just blow up when the squirrel shoves that acorn in it. So please, Diss, don't kill me. ^^;

Re: Art Thread
im starting to get more into a realistic style of drawing, so this is one of my initial sketches of David from my comic. I chose him because He is the least complex character.

Featuring a few of my friends as kangaroos (except the red kangaroo, who was already a kangaroo) - and me as a wallaby. Trying to turn me into another species without the Djinni's permission has adverse effects.

Excellent work Hukley! I really like the shine on squeaky JacFox. ...Just don't pull open the flap on his tummy.
Really funny nicely-drawn pics Douglas! Yep, squirrels are the bane of humanity, whether we realize it or not... Looks like you drew the short straw again in Genii's little game.
Great detailed sketch J-man. Sometimes the seemingly least complex characters turn out to be the deepest... Still waters run deep and all that.
Nice costume Blasterizer. Yep, trust James, he's a doctor.
Okay, on the costume theme, here's something I did for my OC's (Holly and Heidi). Yes, for this time of year, it's best to leave your windows closed in case stuff like this happens.

He goes by Djinni now - he's gotten over his low self esteem issues about having a girly sounding name - that and The Genii made it sound like he was schizophrenic. He still prefers it be pronounced "genie", though.

@Doug: Heh, that's awesome. You always get the SHORT end of the stick, huh?

Lovely characters, Hukley, great work! Isn't difficult draw with a so big pen? That's such a funny draw, Douglas. Eheh, also Holly gets wrong at saying and doing things. Nice costumes, now they're really the not-so dynamic duo. Good work, dryideabat.

the jaw, chin, bangs and pretty much any other part where two sections of the same color overlap could use more shading, for the sake of being easier to see where one starts and the other ends. still, not bad.

Nice drawings Hukley. It reminds me for some reason of those novelty prop pens, like the one Curly pulls out in that Three Stooges skit where Moe keeps breaking them.
Very impressive 3-D models snappyfox. Can't wait when an HP! console game comes out with such graphics.
Look at the bright side Douglas, at least you can fly now... Oh wait, the stubby wings.
