Notebook heatsink?

Does anyone know where I can get a good nokebook heatsink that'll fit an S1 socket in a 15.6" notebook? I can't believe I only just noticed this but, running a second screen and all the other external hardware I have plugged in is taking the core temperature up 10 degrees more than I'd like it and the fan is noticabally loud.

The places I usually shop for computer components don't sell it so I was wondering if anyone knew if there was somewhere in america that sells them and ships to the uk.

Thanks for any help.

EDIT: Just going to get a Lian-Li cooler since not even ebay has any S1 heatsinks.

Two questions:
What is a heatsink? I know what a cooling table is, but they are obviously not the same thing....

How do you check the Core temperatures in a laptop? Can you look at it through the computer (like a program or something), or do you have to have special equipment to check it?

Random Fact: I'm always up for learning something about computers and cars. I like being able to fix things/ find the source of a problem myself (Or to just have the knowledge, just because).

I used "coretemp" and CPU meter I had already downloaded that now shows core temperatures.

Heatsinks on laptops are pretty much always tightly designed to fit into only one specific laptop model. and thus aren't interchangeable.
Edit: no wait i misunderstood, are you referring to the heatsink that directly goes on the CPU/GPU or did you mean one of those laptop coolers/stands?

Actual CPU sink, nowhere even sells any though so there'd be no point opening it up to see what the model specific heatsink looks like, I'm just going to buy a lian-li cooler that has a 22cm fan

Don't bother, laptop heatsinks can't be upgraded. What you can do however for optimal cooling is:
1. open it and clean out ALL the dust
2. oil the fan if necessary
3. re-apply a higher quality thermal compound(such as artic silver, IIRC)

It's worked for me, several times. My old laptop was FULL of dust, and had a crappy aluminum thermal pad. Cleaned out the dust and a drop of artic silver(which i now ran out of, so now im using some generic one >.> but that doesnt really matter much) and it runs at the temp it's actually supposed to run at, which is colder than before.(~130F when under stress)

Another thing you may be able to do so that the laptop runs cooler is downgrade or underclock/undervolt your processor and maybe video card(if you have one, as some laptops have integrated chipsets that can't easily be underclocked or undervolted), I did that with one of my laptops and the fan remains at a slow speed even when under stress!

It's max temp is like 60c, repositioning it to a cooler part of the room dropped it's max to around 55c

22cm fan underneath it should cool it a bit, shouldn't be much dust considering it's not even a year old, I'll put arctic silver on when the warranty expires in march

My desktop had collected a layer of dust in only 3 months. There could be at least a little dust, and cleaning that out would most likely help, at least a little.

You just reminded me of when a fly got into my brothers desktop computer through an air vent.
