Wiggins forgot he was still in Chris' arms. His ears blushed red as he stood up.
Er, yeah, Sorry... But, I-i'll stay to talk! Wiggins said, changing his mind, since Chris was open for breakfast. He also didn't want to leave too soon before he got the chance to meet them.

The two escorts weren't the only pandas out on duty this morning. One had been following Blay!

"Excuse me sir, may I have a moment with you," the red panda guard said to him.

Trenton quickly texted Austin about the Leone's. He looked down the street see if he could see either him or Maxwell outside. He phone quickly buzzed and he took up his phone and locked on his screen.

Inside, the place had been furnished just like some old European cottage. The place was rich with flower pots, sunny decorations, in harmony with the antique, solid wooden furniture. There were no carpets, replaced by a floor of terra-cotta. Landscape pictures would hang from the walls, together with an occasional Cross.
And right now, upon everything, the delicious smell of freshly baked sweets.
"Sorry, we don't usually do American breakfasts," Cinzia said from the kitchen. "You'll find fresh cookies, pastries, Neapolitan bread, butter, jams..." Everything was visible on the table in the dining room, as if a cornucopia had just been opened!
Elio was placing the new seats on the table. "be ready in a moment, ragazzi. Milk, anyone? Someone for zabaione"?

Trenton looked around at the quaint home. It seemed as though he had step into a time machine. Everyone had this antique feel to it. Trent was normally use to a mordernized home, but this felt quite homey. The alluring scent of sweetness danced into way toward Trent's nose. He looked around and wagged his tail. "Oh if Austin saw me eating these sweets for breakfast he'd killed me." He up and down the table as he went back to his thoughts, "Well what he don't know, won't hurt him."

"Thank you very much, ma'am!" It was a sincere gesture of gratitude. "Excuse me for my ignorance, but what is Zaboine?" Trenton looked up and down the table to determine the Italian cuisine she had mentioned. He then heard the explanation. "Muy interesante!" He blushed a bit. It seemed Max's culture was catching on. He wondered how Italians would feel about Spanish in their home. It was a funny thought really.

Trenton blushed deeply. "I...um...Well" He was quite surprised. He held his cheeks. He could feel the flushness against his touch. He tailed wagged a bit. It was nice to have friends. "Well, I think we can get along quite well. It a very smart hound!" He was still smiling. "May i have some of the pastries please. I would like to try some of the Zabaione. I love learn about different cultures."

He looked over to Chris. "Oh my such a Melting Pot we have here. Austin's boyfriend, Max, is from Mexico. I've been learning quite a lot from him the pass two years I've been with them." He looked at them and his tail wagged even more fiercely. "So many things I can learn from you all!"

We bought this house specifically so that a room could be turned into a kitchen laboratory," Elio added, taking a slice of bread. He immersed it into his caffelatte and ate.

Trenton picked a few from the tray and plopped one into his mouth. The treat slowly began to loose it shape and ooze over the dog's taste buds. It was a interesting feeling, but the sweetness was so delicious. "Oh my!~" He grabbed his cup of milk within in seconds the cup was have empty. He grabbed another and plopped it into his mouth. "So, who is Valiant's boyfriend?" The shepherd was generally curious. "With his personality, from what i experienced, I'm not surprised he has someone." Suddenly Trent felt his mind taunt him again. "Smooth, Shep, Smoooth."

In answer, Elio stood up and went to a small table standing near an antique armchair. He opened the desk and produced a green-cover actual photograph album. "Here. Sorry, I don't use those modern gizmos to store my best memories." He opened the album in the middle and pointed at the picture. "This would be him. Belisarius is his name."
Belisarius was an actual, pureblood Timber Wolf! A finest specimen at that, not an ounce of fat, fluffy all over and big enough that Valiant was, in that picture, actually *sitting* on the wolf's flexed arm as if on a tree branch! Rikki was hanging by Belisarius' fingers like a small monkey. The wolf was 'wearing' only a couple of dog tags. All of them three looked really happy.

You're like a runt compared to Belisarius. You're kinda boring really" Trent always had this battle with himself. His thoughts always taunt him or doubt him, like there was another persona. Trent gave a slight smile. "They know so many interesting people. I feel like a stick in the mud, honestly."

Elio chuckled at that. "Yes, you could say that. My wife is always on a quest to make the perfect dish for family and guests. The cornetti are a typical pastry most known in my country and in France. They were invented by the Muslims centuries ago, as a symbol of their crescent moon. And yes, Bel is the best thing ever happened in Val's life since he had to quit his old job." he sighed. Then to Trenton, "Please don't feel out of place: Valiant has a thing to tell when one's a good person or not, and I'm sure you boys will get along just fine... And what about you, Wiggins? Outside his head, he was giving displeased looks. Trent didn't noticed that his was making facing. Though if anything, they didn't convey the conversation that was going on in his head, but just looks of anxiety.

Wiggins followed the other pets into the house. It looked a lot like his home. He also looked at all the sweets. They all looked intoxicating, and the people were so polite. Still, the one thought that popped into his head was of Hansel and Gretel, the old story about how the children were lured into the house and were almost turned into animals... oh wait, I am an animal.
But that still didn't change the fact that something could happen.
On the other hand, Wiggins didn't want to be rude, and it looked like they were being genuinely nice.
Sorry, but I can't eat any dairy products, being a rabbit. Do you have any fruit? Wiggins asked.
It was true that he couldn't eat the stuff, but if he asked for a fruit, they wouldn't have time to tamper with it.

As she was walking through the neighborhood, Jessica noticed that there weren't many pets around. Had she missed an invite to a party or something?
Then she saw what she had initially set out to find... A new pet. She decided to go up to him and introduce herself. He seemed to have already met one of the red pandas.

"Good morning," She said to the two in front of her.

The other red panda hanging around the Leone's group of house pets naturally followed the group in, realizing his mistake, and there was no sense in bolting out of the house, he stood near the door. He was fairly quiet and would occasionally take a sip from a canteen, as if he were just waiting for something or someone. He watched the group with calm interest.

Mitch drummed his fingers on his desk. He needed out. So he grabbed his satchels and crossbow and his list he rolled and stuffed into a satchel and headed out his door. The first direction he went was towards the Leone's.

And seeing as it is training, yourself probably won't be in danger at all. So nothing to worry about. At one point you'll be able to tell them where to go. And if your up for it and don't mind a tiny tumble, we've a surprise to startle the newbies to see how they react under stress."

In order for someone to have comfort in their own home they need to build it around their own taste, likes, and interests. Maybe he can find some interest he holds with the Wolfhound. Trent scratch his forearm a bit. He wasn't entirely comfortable with going into someone's room without their permission. Yet, Elio was Val's father. "It's kinda...like...permission? The room was upstairs. Once they reached it, the old man opened the door...
On an empty room. A desk, a bed, no posters, no books, no pictures. A Kindle e-reader, a PSP Vita, an iPod and a tablet were the only signs that there was life at all in that room.
