Jack slept in the passenger seat of his moms U-Haul wearing his trilby over his nose to block the sunlight, when he was awakened by a bump on the road. He sat up, rubbed his eyes, and let out a big yawn. "Good morning, Sleepyhead," his mom said as she scratched his ears, "did you enjoy your nap?"

He smiled and leaned in close to her, "Much more than the one I had on the plane. Those seats are too small for a human, let alo-" he stopped mid sentence as he smelled the air. An array of new smells came into his nose all at once. he stood on his seat, rolled the window down, and stuck his head out. There were so many trees and fields full of plants and animals he had never seen before. He held onto his hat as he looked into the distance. "Look at all the cattle on that land! And that house over there has it's own obelisk! And so does that one! Do we have an obelisk at our house?"

"No, dear. Those are silos, they're what the farmers store their grain in. I don't think we'll ever have that much grain to store"

Jack sat back down, "So we don't have an obelisk?"

She laughed, "What would you do with an obelisk if we had one anyway?"

"Well... we could... put it in our yard so everyone could see it. Isn't that what the Pharaohs did with theirs?"

"Alright, the next time I find one, we can put it the front yard, how about that?"

Jack thrust his arms into the air, "Woo hoo!"

Five minutes later, the Lazul family's U-Haul pulled up to their new house, a blue two story house with a tree in the front yard. Their new neighborhood was nestled between an expanse of farmland on one side and a small city on the other. Jack hopped out of the truck and sniffed the air, America smells weird he thought "Can I go look around, Mom?"

"Sure, but could you hold the door open for me? The movers don't want to touch the sarcophagus. They say it's because they don't want to damage it," she leaned in and whispered "but I think it's because they're afraid of curses"

"Aww, but curses are so much fun" he laughed.

Ozzy adjusted the small burner on the table before him, while his interests were usually more technical he had found an old chemistry textbook in the attic and after an afternoons reading he was compelled to try an experiment."Are you okay there Ozzy?" He heard from the house, "Fine dad" he replied. His dad was usually understanding of his curiosities as long as he worked in the dog house and as a result it now resembled a workshop with half finished projects occupying every spare surface.
After checking the substantial list of experiments in his newly found book he saw one that was interesting. The Haber process, He managed to acquire the raw materials from around the house and after dusting off the chemistry set he got for Christmas when he was a pup, got started. After setting up the equipment according to the book he saw "leave to react for ten minutes" and quickly found himself bored. He wandered around to the front yard and saw a moving truck next door with what appeared to be two guys arguing over a sarcophagus inside. "Weird", he thought, "New neighbors sure have odd taste in furniture." His train of thought was abruptly derailed as a metallic bleep from the timer he set up reminded him of his experiment. He donned the welding goggles he substituted for lab goggles and went in to finish the process, looking up the book one more and as he read "allow to boil and leave to cool", he turned up the heat and waited, lazily turning the page he saw, "Warning, ammonia vapor may be produced quickly as reaction may be violent." No sooner had he finished reading as he heard a load hiss from the beaker he had set up and suddenly with an almighty bang the fumes hit him like a brick wall and the stench of the vapor made his knees turn to rubber, He bolted for the fresh air awaiting out side and as he pulled the door of the doghouse closed he keeled over, still reeling from the affront to his senses."so much for the chemistry set", he thought.

Al lay on the grass of the front yard, staring at the sky. It had been a busy couple of weeks, they had moved into the new house and unpacked, although the house didn't quite feel like home, and mom and dad had gotten settled into their new jobs. Now the excitement was over, and boredom was creeping in.
He winced as a sharp smell hit his airways, "what on earth is that?" he muttered to himself, he got up and dusted the grass clippings from his fur. Deciding to investigate, he darted inside, grabbed his jacket from the coat rack and locking the door behind him, followed his nose.

As the car drove to the new house, Katy sighed. The femle Siberian Shiba for some reason just couldn't wait until they were at their new house. "Dad, how much longer?" "Not too much. We're passing some farmland, so we should be there soon." And soon enough, they were. After another minute minute after they had arrived there, they arrived at the house. Then, their owner and Josh began helping their movers carry stuff in. "Well, Katy, while we're busy, why don't you meet some of the neighbors?" "Ok, Dad." Then, she began looking around...Until she saw a house with a sarcophagus near it. Huh...Reminds of those Photoes Zack sent us over E-mail. As she walked over, she saw a woman and another pet. Walking over to them, she said, "Hi there."

A dog's nose presses against a large glass window of the inside of a house.

"Already Two weeks in this town"
Frits looks around the house,
*I could decorate some of my other fisbee's*
Fits intend to draw a lot of stuff over objects he will trow away to retrieve.
Sure, it sounds silly at first, but when you trow a frisbee away at high spinning speed, and the colors start to combine, it makes for a awesome effect.

Frits decides to go check if he can help his mom,
He walks trough a small hallway, down to the back of the house, where his mother is preparing for work.
"Mom?, is there anything for me to do?"
His mother looks at him, kneels down and says:
"you can do the dishes,"
Frits thinks for a moment....
"I meant to say, is there anything fun for me to do"

Frits mother pats him on the head, and walks out the door to go to work.
"Dad will be home a bit late, so perhaps you should go check around the neighborhood?"
As she walks to the car, Frits presses his nose against the front window again as he wags his tail and see's her drive away.
*Explore the neighborhood?*
"thats not a bad idea, I am still looking a good place to show my frisbee's around"

No sooner had Jack's mom finished wheeling the sarcophogus into the livingroom when a new dog came over to greet them. Jack removed his hat and bowed, "Good day, my lady. I am Jack Lazul, and this is my mom, Lori."
Lori smiled and waved as she walked back to the truck, "Hello."
"It is a pleasure to meet you." Jack said with a smile.

Jack smiled, "Well, Katy, as long as you're not from INTERPOL, I suppose I could tell you. It's actually a replica from the museum, the only difference between ours and the real one is that nobody's inside of it."

"We're pretty sure that no one is inside it" Lori said, "I really should check that one of these days"

Jack laughed, "Mom discovered the real one, so the museum gave us a replica as a trophy when we left Cairo."

"Are we there yet?" A ferret ferret asked his owner, "No Winch." His owner replied. "Are we there yet?" "No" "Are we there yet?" "No" "Are we there yet?" "No" Winch stopped asking. Then after about a minute, "Aaaaaaaare weeeeeeeeeeeeee theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere yeeeeeeeeet?" He moaned, stretching out all the vowels, "Actually Winch, we're here." his owner said as they entered the neighborhood, "Hooray!" Winch cheered. They drove down the neighborhood slowly so they could see the neighborhood, "You're right dad, this place looks a lot like where we used to live." Winch said. Mr. Hunter nodded, "Yup, except there's supposed to actually be a lot of pets here. And our house has a few acres of land on it, so you can have plenty of room to play in." They kept driving until they drove past a group of pets in front of a sarcophagus. Winch immediately stuck his head out the window, "Hey! We're new here! That thing looks cool, I'm gonna open it now!" Winch called as he jumped out the window. His owner, Mr. Hunter, grabbed Winch by the tail just in time and pulled him in, "Oh no you don't!" Winch still had his head out the window, "I'll be back later!" Winch called to Jack and Katy, as he was pulled in and the window was shut. They drove up to their new home: A two story light-blue house. There was a barn in the back yard as well as a tool shed, "This place is awesome!" Winch said as they burst out the door, "I'll get everything set up, you go and explore the neighborhood." Mr. Hunter said. "Yeah!" Winch said as he ran off down the sidewalk

Well, you see, I'm ac-" Jack stopped mid sentence as he heard someone yelling at him. he watched as a long animal almost leapt out of a moving car, only to be stopped by a dog at the last moment "I'll be back later!" he heard it shout. "uhh, as I was saying, I'm half Greyhound on my father's side, and half Golden Jackal on my mother's. Am I crazy, or was that a mongoose that was yelling at us?"

After exploring a bit, Frits is now under a big tree on a somewhat large grass field, enjoying the sun on his face.
This is his favorite tree because it remind him of his old home, He alway seem to stop and take a brake there.
He leans back with his hands at the back of his head, and his eye closed.

Frit's ear twitches two times.
"I t.l. y.. I'.. .e b,,k"
he opens one eye, and see's some commotion across the street.
*It's bizzy over there....*
*Aaa, the sun is coming back up*
Frits closes his eye again and enjoys the sun some more.

After His Head cleared a bit Ozzy got up from his stupor and had a look around. Nothing seemed to be on fire and no-one was yelling at him,
"So far so good." he thought.
He decided to deal with the mess in his workshop until after the stink had dissipated and was about to go inside when he heard a faint but distinctive voice,
"I told you I'd be back!"
"Sounds like more new neighbors." he mused, "Better go and introduce myself".
And with that he made his way around to the street to see what was going on.

Al wandered round the corner, there was a small crowd, a few dogs and a ferret, outside a house across the street. He looked up and down the street, there didn't seem to be much traffic around here but getting run over within a month of moving would suck, not that getting run over under any circumstances would exactly be pleasant. As he was about to cross the street he caught sight of a dazed looking figure in his peripheral vision. He turned to face the dog, an Alsatian in welding goggles who was emerging from round the side of one of the houses. He waved, and as he approached him said, "Are you ok? you look kinda shaken up."

A Ford came rolling to a stop at a white house. "Okay T.J," Thomas Jakes said, turning off the engine. "Help me take out some boxes then you can go exploring or whatever you do know." T.J nodded and unbuckled himself. "Dad, will you help me with this one?" he grunted, pulling out a giant box from the car. Mr. Jakes helped out his dog, and working together they got all of their boxes into the house. "Thanks T.J, now go have some fun. Be back soon though. Oh, and do you have your phone?"
T.J nodded and smiled at his dad. "Don't worry about me Dad, I'm fine. Now go unpack and relax. " He ushered his dad a box labeled 'Thomas Stuff' and grinned as he dad laughed. "Okay Teej, don't do anything stupid." He gave a stern look.
"Don't worry about me, I'll be an angel. I always am." With that, T.J walked out of the house and down the street looking, at his new neighborhood.

Rody was sleeping on his cage on his back when suddenly a faint but pungent smell hit his delicate nose. "Ugh. It smells like ammonia." He immediately stired up, "I bet Ozzy tried to do something out of curiosity."

The little hamster put on his labcoat and lazily done his tie, getting it a little wrinkled. He took a sip of fresh water, washed his face and then opened the door of his cage.

"Were are you going?", said a female cat that was lying on the bed of the room, curled and feigning some sleep (It was more like REAL boredom).

"I'm going to check on Ozzy. I smell troubles.", he chuckled. "Could you please say Lily I'll be back later?"

The cat didn't answer, obviously she was going to rely his message, and went back to feigning some sleep. Rody sweatdropped at the silence, taking it as a yes. "She is not rude, she is only a lazy cat", he thought.

Rody bolted out of the house and ran toward Ozzy's house to see if he was okay when he saw him outside of his house with a lab he never had seen... or so he can't remember... Anyway, he ran toward the two dogs.

Aaron walked through the living room of his new house. He and his owners had moved in a week ago and had spent the entire time unpacking boxes and rearranging furniture. Everything had finally been set up and Aaron was itching to meet some of the pets in the neighborhood.
"It's nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, isn't it Aaron?" his mom asked, pouring some water onto one of the hanging plants near the windows. "It sure is," Aaron replied, "But it's a little bit boring right now."
"Well, you have some time, why don't you go meet some of the pets that live nearby?" Mom suggested.
Aaron's eyes lit up when he heard that. "Really? I can go?"
"I don't see why not. Just be back for dinner, okay?"
"Got it!" Aaron opened the front door and raced outside.

The one that has the thing in Egypt and there's traps, people are all like, 'Aaaaaah!' Then the things do that one thing at that one place and that one other thing happens, and the mummy does that thing , but they stop it by doing that one other thing and then the mummy dies!
