Aww... Oh well, no use crying over shredded cat. Hutch picked the magazine up and crumpled it into a ball.
He then proceeded to walk over to the pets.
Looks like you have yourself in a pickle. Need any help?

Elliot release lucky by untying his string. (By pulling it in a certain angle.)

Blick's tail fluffs up, knowing exactly what Samantha was going to do. "Do I really have to? What's wrong with checking my mouth?" She says anxiously. Then gets into position, knowing her argument was futile.
"I'm sorry, but ya have ta. Do you want ta hold my hand?" Sabrina tries to comfort her.
Blick nods and hold out her paw for Sabrina.

On impulse, Chip grabbed at the loosed string and dug in, trying to slow Lucky's descent. Her hands were small enough that the string was more like a rope and didn't cut straight through her hands but she still had the big's ENORMOUS weight pulling him down and, err... pulling her forward to the edge of the branch...

Leslie stopped at the multiple scents. Obviously that Jakkal had been caught. Leslie decided he needed to get back to finding the other and winning the game! He decided to get a better look and climbed up to a low branch to look around.

"You're welcome and thank you. It's not often I get owners so compliant. It's rather refreshing actually. And yes, I'm sorry, Miss. Van Gorge but you do have to. It is the most accurate way to take one's temperature. I know it's uncomfortable but it'll be over quickly." As she speaks, Samantha puts a small drop of lube on the end of the thermometer and takes hold of Blick's tail, pulling it out of the way.
"Ready?" Ten seconds later the thermometer beeps. and Samantha records the temperature, annoncing to the fox and her owner that it's perfectly normal.
"Last thing now and then we'll be done. I'll get you to stay hanging onto the table like that and I'll give you your vaccination. It'll go in the scruff of your neck. After this I'll give you a lollipop becuase you've been so good." Samantha loads up the syringe, making sure there are no air bubbles and turns back to the fox again.
"Ready? Shall I warn you or just do it?"

Chip had to give up. She had to let go. It was hurting too much and she was about the drop after him... She released the string and blew on her hands. "Is the Long-ear okay?" She asked, before heading back down to Elliot.

Seeing that Ryyn and Hutch are ready to catch Lucky, Flynn lets the string feed out through his paws as best as he can, lowering the other buck rather jerkily to their waiting paws. The moment he feels the string go slack, Flynn releases it and shakes and blows on his paws in agony, occasionally squeezing them in his armpits. The narrow string had given him new rope burns on top of his healing ones from yesterday, scoring into his paws deeply, but thankfully not breaking the skin.

Leslie sprang from tree branch to tree branch and kept his balance a little unsurely before looking to see if he could see that tree-jakkal. There he was, over there, calling to ask if the game was over. "Is it over if yew're not kort, Mister Jakkal?" He called.

Sabrina gently holds down Blick, and signals to the vet that she's got Blick restrained. Sabrina begins reminding Blick that she'd get candy if she has good behavior, and that freaking out will only make the shot hurt more.

Following the sounds of voices, Stryder pushes through a bush out into the area where the pets had gathered to help Lucky, "So you were found already, Elliot? Darn, I was hoping to catch you again." He smiles at Elliot before gesturing at the cat following him, "I found someone else though, his name is Mercury. Elliot, I also found your friend, the mountain lion. Well, actually Leslie found her, and then I found both of them."

Leslie jumped from tree branch to tree branch to try and keep up with the remaining Jackal. The first time he'd fallen off but he'd managed to grip onto the branch and pull himself back up. Hmm, his backpack was heavy today - well, that was his excuse anyhow - as he closed in on Faust.

"Oh, he's not too heavy - average for a buck, I'd say. It's more that the string was so thin that it was cutting into my paws." He licks his wounds a few times each, in the manner of animals, trying to soothe them.

"There. All done. You did really well. I'm proud of you." Samantha disposess of the needle and syringe and then pulls out her lollipop jar.
"I'll tell you what. You were so brave that you can have two if you like." she smiles, offering the vixen the jar.

"There you go. We can work with that. We don't get a lot of military stuff but we do get some weaponry every now and again." She takes Radar first to the front counter to pick up a set of keys and then over to the case she's seen earlier with the bow, arrows and quiver.
"What can you tell me about this stuff?" she asks, indicating the case and the one next to it which contains a small selection of knives as well as a variety of military-branded knick-knacks such as a pair of binoculars, a water-cannister, two different compasses and a hip flask.

Radar looked closely at the knives. "Those two look to be of the American Civil war. Very common, nothing overly special." She stopped and pointed to the third larger one. "This one however is actually a french cavalryman's bayonet. Probably dated around 1806. Being this it's much rarer." She then moved to binoculars, "They appear to be World War one, though bar that I can't really say anything else on them. The rest I'm unsure of without having to do a bit of research." She chuckled lightly. "As I say, weapons are more my thing."

"You can open the cases and have a closer look if you like as long as you're particularly careful with anything with cloth on it because cloth becomes very fragile over time. Do you know where you'd look if you were asked to research a particular piece?"

Leslie watched his prey below him and decided this was his time to pounce. He prepared himself and swung his arms before jumping off the branch and landing with his arms outstretched sideways to stabilize him behind Faust. "Got yew!" The kitten said, putting a handpaw on Faust's back before he frowned. "Wat do I do now?"

She nods, still crying, and squeezes Sabrina's hand somewhat hard. Blick yelps when the needle is inserted, but doesn't move. She accepts the jar from Samantha.
"T-Thank you." Blick says, trying to stop crying. "I'm sorry for being so mean earlier. You're a very nice vet." She adds, taking a cherry lollipop.
