Hey guys, we have been doing Pet Friendly IRC for a long time...and the results? SUCCESS!
So...if you want to join in RPing, join #Pet_Friendly, and remember it is all non cannon, meaning you don't have to stick to what your character normally does and knows. Another thing, the setting can be anything, not just the neighborhood. (can you say sci-fi?)

There are three rules:

Use OOC using ()

Keep it PG-13...(nothing too explicit)

And no double posts, this lets others have a chance at typing. You can OOC all you want...just in character is all that matters.

Feh, if I didn't know any better, I'd say that double-post thing was aimed at me! I like to "double post" because it's like a "break" in the speaking, espcially when the character is trying to make a point, or you don't want to keep the others waiting! From now on, I'll tag on "WFI" or, "Wait for it," if I'm going to keep typing. Is that okay? But otherwise, yes, do give the others a chance to write something.

Yeah, all non-canon, though some of the non-canon stories might be brought into the canon if it truly can fit. (Like how I'm doing that for Venison's side stories...you'll see...) You can even use a different character entirely, or change around the one's you have, depending on the situation. Like for the sci-fi and fantasy settings.

Anyway, we've done all of the following:

Fireworks! (New Years Eve)
Sean, the evil wizard (Fantasy setting)
The catnip incident (*shrugs* Hey, it stayed PG-13. Venison facepalmed A LOT, and that was funny)
A Plant walk for Del (A failed one, unfortunately. One other good thing is that we can abandon ideas if they get boring on us.)
Blast at colony 24 (Yes, I just created that name for the sci-fi thing)

And many more. Some of those are in progress, and are open to others to join in.

One thing to note: This is a separate chatroom from the Housepets! IRC.

Well, sometimes that happens, you just need to pick the right thing to RP.

Well, for really fun RPs, you guys need a NPC, so to say. A human that will decide what will happen, etc, like the vet when you're roleplaying the pets being at an animal clinic.

I want to add this rule just in case some people want to do thing differently in the room.

You can have some extra rules (Only one person can control NPCs) or remove some rules, but remember, only if everyone agrees before the session starts.

I've only been here for three days and i'm more interested in these then the ones i did on SotS forum board... but then again... we started with 23 players and it widdled all the way down to 5 and ultimately we all got killed off. Here.. if jsut pure awesomeness.... the fantasy thing... i could thing of things but they're barely PG-13... just barely.
