After that short jog across the town the group at arrived at the end of Joe's property. Alright we are here now, so where is Tesla? Snowy asked as the group entered the yard.

The girls meanwhile were busy inside the house half cleaning and half looking for the tea pot and tea cups. Hey girls, I think the boys just arrived. Speedy said to the small group.

(OOC: I made a mini time skip so as to allow for more posting to happen. Leafolawl is still missing somewhat, so I'm not sure if he'll be able to keep being a part of this neighborhood once he does come back. either way we'll just have a sort of talk meeting between our characters again.)

Chem looked and Marro and smirked.
"Not sure those people count. Aren't you all...". He waved his hands in a spell casting manner.
"Magi-cal?"

Marro chuckled a bit at the comment If seeing ghosts or not having a soul bound to an object makes you magical then yeah, but if that were the case it would mean you are too, cause last I checked you see them too he smiled a bit

Chem paused, looking slightly dumbfound.
"Err... Well.". He thought for a moment, mouth agap, searching for a rebuttal.
"Well... I'm not.". He finally concluded, crossing his arms and looking away defiantly.
"Maybe an exception?". He rationalized out loud.

"Tesla?" Soren asked, "I believe Nikola is six feet under... though I've seen his plans. Quite the crafty scientist."

"I don't think they're talking about him," Cody said, "if you'll notice, there's a distinct lack of science stuff everywhere.... I swear, you're as crazy for science as some cats are for catnip."

Ryan was just following the group keeping to his silence when a few others started talking about some glowing lights, then proceeded to act like they were talking to some glowing lights. He didn't see anything nor hear anything so in a sort of awkward manner he rubbed his eyes and yet still nothing was there so he just looked between all of the others around him watching as they talked to imaginary fairies.
"Oook so everyone as apparently gone crazy and somehow i'm still sane....Or I've finally lost it and i'm imagining things......" Ryan thought to himself, trying to rationalize all of this then he overheard them talking about the fairies, and then the word magical sprung up and Marro was the target of such word. He didn't seem like a magical being but crazier things have happened and when Soren finished Ryan stepped in.

"Wait wait whoa who are yall talking too? Who's magical?

Marro gave a chuckle and smiled gently "You're hopeless" he shrugged and began to laugh again "But thats not a bad thing, you're interesting and I think you are a pretty cool wolf, maybe you will understand eventually... But only if you want to hang out more, its up to you" he nodded and held out his paw, seeming to want a handshake

Chem nodded, taking Marro's hand in his and shaking it.
"Wouldn't mind hanging out more.". His eyes seemed to drift elsewhere and he shuffled his feet as if he was nervous.
"You're... Different.". He admitted, speaking slowly as if processing each word before he spoke it. Then Chem retuned his gaze towards Marro, breaking into a grin.
"But that's not a bad thing either."

Marro nodded and smiled "Guess that makes us friends then? Makes you inclined to say yes to the invitation of the star gazing party, again only if you want, if you have other plans I understand" he giggled, his tails swishing to and fro creating a small breeze "Wow Chem I haven't ever seen Marro's tail go that fast" Alu teased, to which Marro simply grinned, slowing his tail down a bit

Chem smiled back, at Alu's comment, and the offer.
"Makes me very inclined to say yes.". His own tail wagged to a calm and steady rhythm.
"And I don't have any other plans so.". He grinned, leaving the answer unsaid, but clear.

Joe shrugged, "Probably inside let's go have a look." He opened the front door and entered, "Hey anyone home?"

In the kitchen Kallie's ears perked up, "Well it looks like the boys are here."

"Well..." Chem thought out loud.
He flipped open his notepad.
"Wanted to check out the river. Was mentioned to be an notable place according to the town brochure."
He looked from the pad to Marro.
"Know where we can find it?"

Marro thought for a moment, lets see the house was that way, and he remembered seeing the river on his way there, so it must be "I believe its this way" he pointed and tiled his head as he began to walk in the direction of the river, trying to think of small talk "So what brought you to Exotic Acres?" he asked

Chem shrugged.
"Not much to tell." He clasped his hands behind him as he walked.
"Dad was a performer, guitarist. Had gigs all over America." He furrowed his brow.
"Usually wait in the trailer until he was done. Too loud in buildings, hard to think. One day was in vehicle, Dad went out on errand. Was eating a sandwich by the car window, had excessive amount of ketchup in it." He paused, glancing at Marro before continuing.
"Led to unfortunate outcome. Someone saw and thought I might have been eating..." He coughed dryly.
"Something...else. Called Animal Control and... well..." He sighed.
"We finally decided should move somewhere permanent and more...accepting. So..." Chem gave a small grin and another shrug.
"Here I am."

Marro folded his arms behind his head and began a high step slowing down the pace a bit "I see... That could be... misleading..." he sighs"As for me, I spoke of the future, of something that seemed so... unlikely... They thought I was mad, that I had turned a corner and slipped away... I suspect that my prediction may be coming true as we speak... I feel sorry for them..." he stopped and thought for a moment before continuing his high step "My owner knew how difficult it was for me and wanted to avoid the coming misfortune... so we moved here..." he smiled softly

"Yes. Locals here are more accepting. Can't remember the last time I walked around freely." He stretched and yawned to make the point. But the last comment perked his curiosity.
"Coming misfortune?"

The group chatted for a few minutes then left the house on their way to the bowling alley. Not long after leaving, Snowy looked behind him and noticed that Joe wasnt there anymore. Figuring that he just stayed home he kept going. Soon after another short walk they arrived at the front doors of their destination. So, here we are, you 3 ready? Snowy asked as he pulled the doors open, walking in.
(OOC: It's looks like a typical bowling alley in the US.)

Speedy enjoyed the small chat the group shared, but soon the boys left except Joe. The girls had some tea with some "cake". Then Speedy left the house to head back to the shopping or as she should say, 'looking'. Maria and her left the house after saying their goodbyes, with tesla still sleeping upstairs they decided to leave her, and Kallie staying home, they were on their way to more shops. So to which shop now? Speedy asked Maria.

It's good that some of you are ready for this at least. Snowy said as he looked at Cody. Then walked over to the shoe rental area of the alley to get some for his pals.

Hey Brett, how are you doing today? He said to the guy behind the counter. Pretty good so far Snow. Let me guess 2 pairs for you and Speedy. The man answered without even turning around. Nope I brought some of the new neighbors in to experience bowling for the first time. The man then turns around to see the new people. Oh this is quite the bunch here, you even have a few more of your species in the neighborhood now too. So do they know their sizes for bowling shoes, or in their cases, boots. I would guess not since most haven't bowled before. Brett didn't say anything back just pointed at a machine to his right with his thumb. Ok guys 1 at a time I need to stand on this machine, right here, and stay still while it measures for about 10 seconds. Snowy addressed the group with those commands while he pointed at exact spot for standing.

Maybe but I don't think Brett even has it anymore. Do you? Snowy said then asked as he turned toward the man. It might be in the storage room somewhere covered in dust, but I don't wanna look for it. He replied. Neither would I, oh and it is done Soren. Looks like you need my size, which is 10. Cody are you going next?

Chem nodded, giving Marro a curious glance before his attention was diverted by the river.
About twenty feet across. Crystal clear water. In a forested area. Abundance of fish. Shallow at some points. Bottom is floored with smooth pebbles ,caution, they are slippery. At least that's what the pamphlet said, and the picture was pretty accurate.
The wolf walked closer to the river, taking out his notepad and pencil and beginning the write in it.
"Do you swim?" He asked.

"Maybe.". Chem said, smiling. His eyes were still on the pad as he scribbled away.
"Not sure about skill though." the wolf smirked. "Was never taught by otters.".
With his species more adapted to a drier climate Chem himself never saw much rain in the Arizona desert of his childhood (or... at least as much as he could remember about it). There were times yes when it rained but there was never a need to swim. But since then he's tried his paw at swimming a few times (on his owner's insistence) and is now familiar with all the mandatory requirements needed to swim in the water. Don't expect him to win any races but he finds that laying on your back looking up at the clouds can be... Relaxing.
Moving closer to the water he sat down by the bank, soaking his feet, still concentrating on his notepad.

Marro slipped off his collar and bandanna, setting them inside his bag and the bag itself resting on a nearby tree "About how deep would you say it was" he asked, not wanting to just dive in without knowing the consequences if it were too shallow, that would be bad no matter which way he looked at it

"Depth... hmm..." Chem looked up from his notebook and glanced out across the river. The current wasn't strong where they were but it got faster down the way. Picking up a nearby pebble he threw it a foot into the river and watched it sink in the clear water.
"Pretty deep." Chem concluded.
"Probably nine, ten fee..." His voice trailed off when he noticed Marro had taken off his collar. He coughed a moment later, feeling slightly abashed, and quickly turned his attention back to his notepad.
"Feet." He finished, clearing his throat. "Probably wouldn't worry about hitting the bottom. River should be deep enough."

"One sec." Chem says, finishing the last of his notes before putting it down near the bank of the river, setting his glasses down beside them.
The wolf then stands up and stretches, reflecting on the last time he swam. Florida? Maybe...
Nevertheless Chem mentally prepped himself, ran, jumped, and dived, feet first.
Personally, Chem never got used to the sensation of the initial contact of diving into the water. That large splash that erupts as you hit the surface and then everything is blurry. Sounds are groggily and the sensation of a thousand bubbles floating around you. You sit there for a second, at whatever depth you managed to dive to, then begin the swimming back up.

Chem broke to the surface, floundering for a few seconds before gaining some balance, and buoyancy. And the water, actually wasn't that bad.
"Perfect." The wolf agreed.
