As he was going down, he heard a familiar voice behind him
"Ah, Rex, Good morning!" his owner greeted him.
"Morning, Dad!" the canine answered "I gotta go out soon."
"With your buddy - I know. I heard you two. Anyway, Breakfast is almost complete." The man caught up with his dog and both went down.
Once downstairs, Rex grinned at Mason
"Ready for a quick breakfast, buddy?"

Nothing but juice for me, i don't like to eat before working out otherwise i can't do everything I want. Mason explained to Rex and his dad. Though i can wait for you to have something quick.

"I'll be honest, I don't want to know the details..." Rena said as she helped Duke to get down to the shop. It took a while, especially going down the stairs, but they managed to make it.

<If I get a headache, I'm takin' all my free time today to complain to both of you for it.> Rena thought to both Miles and Hubert, threatening them both with the strongest threat she could think of... Which, she found to be probably the single most pathetic threat she'd ever made in her life. "Sorry to keep y'all waitin'." Rena said as she led Duke along.
"No worries Rena. We just got back from Janus's and, well is there somewhere we could sit down? This might take a bit to explain."

Matt yawned and smiled "Juice alone, boy?" he asked, faking a surprised expression, then shaking his head and heading for the steam-cooker on the stove, from where delightful aroma could be sensed "I've prepared a healthy breakfast - steamed bites* and veggies." the man took the cooker from the stove and put it on the table with a thermo-isolating platter underneath "It's already done and it would be a shame to waste it. Matt turned at Mason "So, pup, will you give it a try?"

Duke listened Mile's voice while Rena helped him down to the shop where Buster and Gage were waiting.
"Alright, well be careful"

After Miles responded to Miles his attention was focused on the discussion downstairs, Miles gave a slight cheerful nod to the two and tried to support himself on his good leg. Though hearing what Hubert had said Miles curiously looked at the two, hoping for a detailed explanation of what happened with the foe who had practically crippled him.

"Well, it's not very pretty, but we can use the back half up upstairs." Rena said, motioning with a jerk of her head. "It's not part of where me an' ma live, so we prob'ly won't have to worry 'bout someone walkin' in." She continued, readjusting the way she was holding Duke up to try and remove some of the pressure from her neck.

Duke listened to Rena as they decided to talk about everything that has gone on upstairs, hopefully they could explain what is going on and how they are going to fix this. When Rena readjusted herself Duke realized the strain he was putting on Rena and with some effort he firmly planted both feet and supported his own weight.
" I think I can go from here. Thank you"
Duke smiled and then fully supported his own weight, tilted slightly off of his injured leg but standing none the less, but then as the others started upstairs Duke thus followed, trying to keep strong he used a hand rail and started up.

Matt grinned "Then you're welcome to join us on the table, pup!" he looked at the shepherd, who was searching for something in the fridge "Rex, the juice is right above you."
"Oh..." The GSD looked at the upper shelf and saw the filled glass juice jug. He took it from the fridge, along with a jug of water and closed the fridge with a shoulder.
"Water and juice are served!" Rex announced after he put the jugs on the table. Then he went to one of the kitchen cabinets, opened it and took plates, glasses and forks for the three of them. The GSD put a set of glass, plate and fork in front of three seats and sat down.
Mat raised a brow "The breakfast ain't good cold, pup! Come, have a seat!"

Mason took a seat at the table, then decided to set something straight. Please don't call me 'Pup' sir. I absolutely hate it, that's what i was called at my old living quarters. The name's Mason or if you want call me sir. He told Matt in a stern voice. Then he started to bite into some veggies, Thanks Rex. Mason said as he took a sip of juice.

"You do realize your rude behavior in a house that accepted you as guest, right?" Matt asked with the same, stern voice. "You do realize how rude it is to talk like this to your host, especially on his own table?"
Rex was giving worried looks at both Matt and Mason, hoping that they won't end up with wrong impressions about each other.

"Hey, don-" Rena started as she tried to keep a hold of Duke's arm, which slipped out of her hands as she groggily grabbed at the air. Letting out an irritated groan, she started heading toward the stairs to the back, ordering, "Buster, head up the stairs in case the door hasn't unlocked itself yet; you've got the keys. Nobody mess with anything up there, I don't know what any of it is!"

The back area of the shop looked to be in disuse. There was a thick layer of dust clinging to most surfaces, and the air was stagnant, filled with an aged smell of dust. Toward the back of the room there was doorway that lead into what looked to be a small office room that was devoid of any actual furnishing. Some model planes and other various nicknacks lined the shelves, as with a few boxes.

It had a few closed windows that looked like they could use a good oiling, and the walls were painted a strange brown color that seemed to add to the feeling that the rooms were giving. Clearly, this area of the building wasn't given much attention.

All of this, was of course, on the other side of the door at the top of the stairs that were inside the shop, which, as usual, had managed to unlock itself somehow.

Miles slipped in. Miles was simply fascinated with the space. He went over everything. Careful not to even touch one item with his ghostly hands. Even though knowing it would probably have no impact, he couldn't help but be in awe.

Do not touch a thing when you guys get in here! This is too special. Miles warned the group.

Buster walked up the stairs after everyone else.

This place is actually kinda creepy. Like there should be ghosts here... he looked at Miles. I mean the creepy, vengeful kind.

then he heard a whisper in his ear. "get out." He nearly jumped out of his fur before recognizing the voice.

"very funny Tara. Weren't you supposed to be learning ghost stuff from Hubert?" he asked coldly. She knew very well that he'd always been afraid of evil spirits. He'd hidden it well when Hubert was messing with him on that first day, but his current emotional turmoil made it hard to do that.

"He's busy being stuck in a skull at the moment, I'll get him to teach me later."

Miles switched his voice to a soft, whispering, gravelly vibe.

"Creeeeepy?" He asked. Then he minimalized his visible body to his claws and eyes, and then added a smoke like effect to them and his teeth as well. He smiled broadly.

"You don't think I can do, creeeeepy?" He asked again, teasing the poor rabbit.

"you guys need to stay out of my thoughts." he said in the same flat tone. "One of these days you won't like what you see."

"We're ghosts, dear. We've already experienced our own deaths, there's not much worse than that." she replied, sticking out her tongue out.

"Why don't you guys talk about ghost things until Rena gets here?"

Gage walked up to the room and looked around. "Well I suppose this'll work. We'll actually have some privacy up here." He tested a chair to see if it was going to hold his weight and content that it would plopped down in it.

I wouldn't mind but I don't know if Hubert will agree. That was kind of just an excuse I told Buster when I thought we'd need to plan our plan in private.

Duke had followed the others upstairs into the room full of knick knacks of all sorts, though he was a little slow after the others so when he arrived he saw all the others looking around though oddly still to his suprise there was another ghostly figure in the room, He had no idea more ghosts lived in Richmond acres but seeing as how there was already a demonic dog that came out at night, a ghost cat and a 1,000yr old dragon he probably shouldn't have been as surprised as he was, but after the short shock of another ghost Duke slowly walked over, trying to not be dependent on a support and just trying to keep moving, putting a bit more weight onto his leg he was able to look somewhat normal with exception of a slightly noticable limp when he took a step. Though as he made his way through the room he looked around at all the different items, making sue to heed to Rena's instructions and not law a paw on a single item.

Again sir not to be rude, but I can run to my house faster than it will take you to grab your keys, put your shoes on, then start your car. I live only a half mile or so away and i can run that distance in very little time. So i don't want to be the worst guest ever but i have to decline your offer to drive me, I'd rather run. It keeps me in shape and you won't have to waste your gas on me. Mason explained to Matt in the nicest way possible even showing a smile for a split second. Then he proceeded to get up from the table and start a slow backward walk towards the door, waiting for his permission first.

Mason reluctantly followed the two where ever they were going, all he knew was if he didn't get home in the next few minutes his owner would make him do the workout for twice as long with no breaks! It had better be a transporting device of some sort or a time machine. Or a portal. He said with sarcasm.

On their way, Matt grabbed a black leather Jacket and opened the door to the garage, clicking a button on his left and grabbing a helmet on his right. Before the sound of the metal door opening, he said "Mason, my boy, I may not be in a possession of such devices at the moment, but I'm sure you'll like my alternative - A Harley Davidson? Rex, the Helmets and into the sidecar! Now!"

Rex nodded and grabbed two helmets from his right as he rushed after Matt, throwing one to Mason and jumping into the sidecar of the Harley.
"Get in fast!" the GSD said to Mason "It will be a bit tight, but it will get us to your place fast." he added before putting his helmet on.

Matt was already in his place, starting the engines.
