The Moon Howler wrote:"More magic boxes..." Shadowclaw grumbled "What sorta fun could they possibly have with 'em magic boxes?"
"Well, I think I could teach you how to use those 'Xboxes' things, but if you want to try something really unusual, would you mind...a novie? It is much like a theater piece, only more...sophisticated. There are so many tales of imagination to be watched...but you could pick up a tale of truth or 'documentary'. Do you remember when I told you mankind went on the Moon?"

The Moon Howler wrote:"It was cured alright." Balkan said "But not by da shamans and healers back then. They were helpless at da time. The Wolves, the lycaons, the humans an' their dogs suffered an' their numbers thinned... until a young man of science came ta da island, bringing cure for da disease. Although many lives were lost, that man managed ta save many more." The half-wolf continued "As a token of their gratitude, the wolves an' the lycaons both gave the man land on da island - this land we're standin' on - an' named him a 'local'. This happened at Chieftain Amelia's mother's time an' my Great grandfather's time." The half-breed finished "That man's name was Ivan Johnson - the one I owe my life to." his ears fell down "An' for three long ears... No one ever stepped in here." The half-wolf looked at the threes "An' it seems teh very forest wants dis place protected."
Balkan closed his eyes for a few seconds "Come, there's more ta see.."
The females followed obediently, although in awe. "When no one comes to claim an abandoned place, it is a bad omen," Faye muttered, her neck fur bristling.
~~~~~~
The Moon Howler wrote:[The forest edge near Salisgrave]
As the town was busy with the final preparations before the big wedding, a horn from the wolves sounded from the forest. Seconds after that at least a hundred fully armed wolf warriors emerged from the forest... and more were staying at the edge. In front of the army stood a familiar wolf in full battle gear.
"Chieftain Amelia o'Salisgrave!" Valken called "Come out and face me!"
[/quote]
If that was to be a surprise attack, it could have been easily ended up in tragedy, for the german lycaons couldn't believe the wolves would actually break an oath of truce. Their warriors were not prepared.
A few moments after being summoned, Amelia came. "What can i do for you, Valken?" behind her, the crowd that was rapidly forming was getting quickly tense and silent.
May your selfless act be remembered forever!"
There was also a tablet on the right side of the statue:
"In memory of Ivan Johnson
Caring friend, Loving Father
Adel payed some attention to Khun's rowing lesson, his attention split between Khun and Levi, and Reggie. He didn't even realize that he was becoming protective of the pup, but he was. Staisfied that they were all safe, and the rowing was steady, he scanned the horizon. The waves were quite a sight to him. The open water never failed to impress Adel; he wasn't used to it. His part of Germany was nowhere near water! The GSD sat back and smiled.
Having already seen the giant boa from yesterday, Khun believed he was ready for everything. Well, everything that didn't show up in a surprise. Khun was wet everywhere that he wasn't sitting on, and was almost unsure at how to react. When they spoke though, Khun let out a sigh of relief. It was some sight! The fall would roar through the forest, leaving a cloud of mist spray in the air. The water had cut an opening into the ring, cutting it in two, while a part of it would run in streams in the ground. A pale rainbow showed against the darkening sky.
"This was the first largest craft ever built by the humans, a token of their technological prowess for transporting passengers. Today, their cruise ships can be even bigger..." this time, near the Titanic came an even bigger ship, a veritable small floating city, the SEA DRAGON. "But I see you're hard to impress, although you explained me why already. So tell me, Captain. What would you like to see that could lighten up your mood?"
The Moon Howler wrote:"No.." Balkan said "I wasn't born here, I was tak'n here as a newborn pup." the half-wolf explained "This place is place for protection... a sanctuary. In here they indeed will be shielded, but won't be able ta learn their surroundings. They need ta know this island the way ye both know it."
The she-wolf nodded. "And so it shall be done then, my mate." Angelina too nodded.
The Moon Howler wrote:"Explain." Valken said, while a mass of wolves, at least triple the numbers of the warriors, came out of the forest, carrying chests with various stuff in them. Some contained food, others - gifts, third - tents, which they immediately began unpacking.
Only then did Amelia notice the folded tents. "Well, don't worry, I see your tribe is providing for that already. I must say, it is such a pleasure to see you organizing this event. A day like this was sung only in the legends."
Tacite dropped from her perch and sat on the ground. The ferret retrieved three food bars, handing one to each of her companions before eating one herself. She then looked up at the sky and began to make a more abstract version of it in her book
"Would you?" He asked him.
"I rode one when I was still scared of getting wet. They're safe."
xhunterko wrote:"Eh heh, alive silly, why would one of the dead be searching for their own dead?" She asked, floating over to and landing on Flint's nose.
Flint wrinkled his nose.
"Hey, in my defense. I'm kinda new to the whole 'talking to the dead' thing."
"Eh heh you'll get used to it," Monique said to Flint, patting his nose, "As far as who, a dog, I believe, surpisingly. We're some how related. I'm guessing by adoption. See, I can sort of see my cousin's smell on this island somewhere. But it's very faint, although it's attached to a larger smell. I found some tracks and I believe it to be a dog. What kind of dog I dunno. And hello there. You all right?" The last bit she said to Martin.
"They are not going to believe half of this on the island," Khun said, "But here goes!" At that, he boldly got on the nearest shark.
"What's your name again?" Khun aked, still a little shakey.
"I'm Popeye. That is Lady, and then there are Boombox (you can imagine why), and Pogo. He's a real jumper, wanna try him instead? So far, Reginald is the only mammal who can keep a hold of his fin during his performances."
