"Could've been more...well, more intimate, but yes."
"Ain't that the truth?" the she-wolf flashed another grin.
"I saw him first," she grinned back.
Balkan kissed both their paws he was holding, then leaned forward and kissed both of them. "It's settled, then. I'll begin the preparations once we get back to the party."

No sooner had he said that, two wraiths of flowers fell onto them! A moment later, strong paws turned the Canaan and the East European Sheperd around!
"Egad! Da cute!" said a male, looking at Martin, showing a big smile -an expression matched by the female with him. "Ohh, curly tail! Ah so adore it! What's yer names, fellas?"

Only Martin's will kept him from assuming fighting pose. Once he was turned around, he saw the locals.
"I'm Martin..." he said then paused for a second "Martin Johnson." the shepherd pointed at the the dog next to him "This here is my... brother... Flint Johnson."

Without warning, the big male lycaon...licked at Martin's cheeck. "Ahm Edgar. Or Eddie."
The female did the same with Flint. "Ahm Rose. And ye smell like human cuisine. Don't telle us ye can't eat at our party!"

"Oh, okay..." Somewhat surprised by the advance.
"Nice to meet you Rose." He quickly glanced at Martin with a raised eyebrow. Maybe this was how they greeted new people. Not that he was complaining.
"And, I'm sure we can still eat a few more bites. Wouldn't want to miss out.".

Martin's expression remained neutral. even after the male lycaon's action. "Nice to meet you, Edgar." he said "Please do not do this again."

Three wolves came from the right.
"I am Ulv, one of the Ambassador's guards. Where is he?" one of the wolves asked.

Balkan stood up and helped both of them to stand as well. "Let's get back to da party, girls. They'll prolly wonder where we are by now."

The same wolf crossed his arms on his chest

The wolves headed to the beach.

"Hey! Hold it there!" Rose barked after them. She ran until she could walked to them, followed by Edgar. "I mean, you and your Ambassador are our most honored guests for the night. So please, *forgive* my brother's rude manners." she threw an icy glance to the male, as if daring him to open his mouth. "And join us for the party if you're off duty. "Yeah," Khun said, stopping for a moment and looking at the sun.

"Herm, I wonder how far we are to it exactly," he said. Then an idea came to his mind. He stepped a little off the road and into the woods.

"HELLO HELLO!? ANY FRIENDLY FERALS IN HERE!?" Khun hollared out cupping his hands over his mouth. Then he waited for a moment.

"It worked in the Phillipines," Khun said with a grin.

"Define 'friendly'," said a new voice from behind them. A deep, booming and yet calm voice at the same time.
A voice like only something *really* big could speak. "Hello, mammals. And fear not, I ate already."
The voice of the holybiggestpapa of all snakes. It was so large that it didin't even need to raise itself to speak to them.

"G-G-G-G-G-G-G-G-G-G...." Khun stammered some more, he closed his eyes once or twice, then, as seeing the snake hadn't done any harm, and it was in truth, another person, Khun felt a little ashamed of his reaction. Remembering something from earlier when he was a pup, and another larger dog had scared him just the same. Khun took a few more deep breaths to try and calm himself. In truth he was more awed then scared, he realized. In just a few moments, Khun was able to speak.

"G-G-G-Good G-G-G-God almighty!" Khun, said, not being able to help himself.

"Y-y-y-y-y-your, y-y-y-y-your, f-f-f-f-f-f-fantastic!" Khun said, "H-h-h-h-h-ello. Y-y-y-y-es, n-n-n-n-n-new, L-l-l-l-l-l-l-lancaster, c-c-c-c-c-c-c-close, t-t-t-t-t-hen?" Khun was doing his best to calm down.

However, that took a while. He just sort of paid attention to the snake and Khun.

Like dropping a bombshell!
It was like a curse, with Lycaons: they were literally 'programmed' to notice anything marriage-related. You could try to use any known circomlocution, use the aid of a mime, mouth the words, even go telepathic! But once the concept was out...
"Guys! Balkan's gonna get married! A double!"
The party went NUCLEAR! In a moment, males and females equally started offering their congratulations and their suggestion for the perfect ceremonial!
