"Vell, I am doing contortion and dance and Sasha is doing fire-dancing and ve bose* do juggling togezzer. Also balancing."
Sasha catches Falstaff's eye and balances an orange on the tip of a spoon standing upright on his nose.
"Behave, Sasha! Ve are in public!" Dinara scolds playfully, giggling as the distraction causes the orange to bounce off her brother's head.
"I guess it is. But, if it will help you feel better, just call me Hubert. Also, to apologize for my...introduction, I will grant you each one wish. Just like a genie. So choose wisely, it is not somethin I indulge in often."
"You do fire?? It's awesome! I am good with that! When I want to attract the attention of my pupils, I do the spitfire!"

"Welcome," the female said, as both bowed. "I am Jada, he is Jade, my brother. The management thought you could need some native support. We will be your guides, your groomers, your escorts." She smiled at Felix. "What a beautiful creature: new life is always a true blessing."

Anubis smiled at the fun both had once floatinghe then grabbed a hand from them both before the gas would push them into the sky to see the island and float within the crosswinds as they slowly descended. " Relax your body and stay flat! let nature do its thing!" Anubis said loud enough for Reg and Levi to hear allowing them all to see the island slowly become larger the closer they got. the fox smiling as he lets go of Reg and levi and soon takes a position as if he was lying on a couch arms behind his head. he looks to levi and Reg for a moment to see how they enjoyed the method of travel, ground approching faster and faster as the wind took them around the mountain and soon into a smooth landing within a small cavern at the top of the mountain.

ooc: Terrible sorry for the wall of text. But I shouldn't be, it's a text based role play! Don't make me do this for the rest of the city. I will.

"Regardless of my status at ANY time," Monique said, "Being a goddess now does not mean you should treat me lightly."
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Ooooooooooooh wishes! Wishes are fun! What to wish for? That's a problem! And you've only got one? OH no hope you don't screw it up! I've always thought if I ever get a wish is to wish for something small, meaningful, and easy to explain. But then that's me, I don't like to answer questions without logical answers. Where'd that elephant come from? Wish? How about all this taxable money? Uh, wish? Wanting to live in a world with pets with superpowers? Have you seen the horror those can unleash in comics and movies? No THANK YOU! Control over a magic? Useful, but only certain times and never on a stage show! Mastery of a real skill? Oh, that's a good one, you can even 'practice' a bit and then be good and it'd be believable! Change the nature of the world or reality? Fffft, impossible, and irresponsible, and I don't believe, forgive my impertinence and ignorance if I am wrong, that lord Hubert is THAT powerful! An object? Did you steal it? A partner? But do they love you because they love you or because they are programmed to love you? The heads of your enemies and get canned for murder? A place to rule with an iron fist where the people will overthrow you with a neat little twist? What a conundrum! A bafflement, confusion! What to wish for?!" Nikki went on, "Eye, if it were me, I'd wish for pockets that never ran out of just the right amount of change regardless of what I was wearing, even nothing! Finding just the right amount of food so that you have enough to eat but are never starving! And that my friends and enemies needs might be fulfilled so their aggression will be less towards me! Ah wishes! What fun! What are you going to wish for?"

Khun headed down the flight of steps carefully, not wanting to topple over. Watching for any loose or crumbling bricks.

"Oh, what did they do? And how are we different from those that came before?" Khun asked.

"Honestly, I should have stopped to pack food before we left," Khun said.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Amber stood up and dusted herself off.

"Ugh, that silly nonsense about only children," Amber said, "Well if THAT were the case, why did Donau try to connect me with the Aether a day ago then if he knew that is how people were trained? But I digress. Shall I begin training combat today, at any case?"

She held out her hands in a plea.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The house was divided into four chambers with upper and lower sections. The home was circled, so it was made of concentric combining circles as well. High ceilings and windows (with glass, surprisingly) made the skin of the house. The staircase was in the center of the house. With two hearths at the back, pouring their smoke at above the house. If the house were a compass, it was designed like the following. The back of the house was the northward part of the compass, divided into four sections. With antechambers connecting each and an open space in the center for the stone stairs. Upstairs was a library, which contained many books to read as well. None of which, were in a language Luke could understand though. The library had 8 windows which let in the sun.

Luke shook his head in disbelief. Going back down the unrailed stairs with Raijda in hand, back to the parlor for ropes. The first floor of the house was divided into four main rooms. When you entered the door, you were immediately in a half circle welcoming antechamber where you could place your coats, shoes, or hats, if there were hooks on the walls for them. Which then led into the parlor. When you entered the parlor antechamber, you were facing north. There was a rounded table slightly in the center, there was a sofa in the parlor's north east corner. The parlor antechamber was only a half circle though with a wide doorway. It's left side made a corner with the adjoining wall. In that corner, was a simple, yet obvious, comfortable throne carved out of the stone itself. On the north wall was a bookcase. Goat fur rugs ran along the length of the floor. Luke could only marvel. If you were sitting in the throne, like Luke was, you would be facing the stairwell in the center, and beyond that, facing north west, was the bedroom.

Looking to the left, you looked at the bathroom's east wall. Getting up, Luke smiled, thinking of the happy memories made there. Heading north, past the stair case opening, you headed into the dining room. This room, going back to the compass analogy, was the north east section, with the parlor being the southeast. The north east, was divided into two sections with the dividing wall in the center. The back section was the kitchen. The front section was the dining hall with a large table and many seats for a small crowd. Tucked away in the south east corner was a convenient sandbox. In the north west corner of the kitchen was a small flight of stairs, which Luke assumed would lead down to the food storage for ease of access. Looking to the west wall of the kitchen, Luke smiled again. The bedroom was behind that wall.

The bed was nice and large. Easily able to fit four occupants and plus some at one time. Though Luke was happy with what he had, he was glad the bed was as large as it was. He looked about the bedroom more closely. As he expected, there was an obvious split in the south east corner wall that led to a sandbox that was the pool's north east corner sand box. Ease of access for late night use, of course, he thought. While in the south west corner of the bedroom was the actual door to the bathroom pool, he smiled, lots of pleasant memories there too. There were no windows in the bedroom or bathroom pool. And for that, he was glad. turning right, to the north east corner of the bedroom, was another small antechamber. It was a decent sized study room, with two desks and chairs, good for writing personal things and a quiet, private area. Luke walked into the bathroom pool once more, breathing in the air.

The bathroom pool was of a decent size. If Luke's stallion Botticilli had four other counterparts, they could stand easily one in front of the other, starting at the north wall going to the south. They could also do the same facing the west wall, going to the east, minding of course, for the deviation of the circle. There was a sandbox in all four corners of the bathroom. Though Luke pondered, there was something fishy about the one in the south east corner. This sandbox had a column like protrusion in it's south east corner. With it's twin being completed in the parlor's antechamber. Luke stood there and pondered at it for a while, remembering the same thing in the upstairs library. Speaking of which.

The library upstairs was itself not so simple as Luke recalled. As soon as you walked up. you were greeted by sunlight. Then the smell of books. If there was a wall without a window, there was a shelf of books. There were plenty walls though. The library had four small rooms on the cardinal points of each direction. Each room had a table, chairs, bed, and desk. Luke thought they were either guest or cub's rooms. Which, with litters of at least four, made perfect sense. However, in the south room, he remembered an odd half column as well. He put a hand on the column here and pushed, and sure enough, a secret door opened! Luke grinned! In the bedroom's southwest corner was a matching column, and he deduced that there was a secret door there too!

He grinned as he led Raijda down, even before he landed on the first step, he could feel the magic permeating from below. It tickled his skin and ran across the body. The resident wizard's chambers, he thought. It wasn't that long way down. The stair well opened to the south east of the house. Which, meant of course the lower south west was the pool drainage system, of course. Luke paused at the steps, wanting to save it for another day. Though he imagined, it was mainly a desk and more books, which would be fine, of course. The northwest basement section had boxes of wood and food. And the northeast section had bunks and quarters for servants.

To the east of the home lay a barracks with a courtyard. And past that lay office buildings. Luke's warriors, though few, were being led by pink wisps to the barracks. To the west, lay the horse's stable and courtyard provided by Monique. There were homes in front of the palace complex, of course, where Luke's retainers and servants were being led. Farther past the Barracks were a set of buildings where Luke could only deduce the halls and offices of government, as that's where the advisors were being led.

Luke smiled. There was a lot of the city to fill out still, but, as he surmised, that would only take a little time. The day was still new, and there was lots to look out after. Luke sat on his stallion with a backpack full of dry food for them and the horses. The backpacks, of course, coming from their supplies. They were just outside their front door, watching the people go by to their places. They were riding saddle back, of course, Luke knew how to do THAT. Luke sided up to Raijda and kissed her gently.

"I saw some people on an air current heading for a landing southwest of here," Luke said, "It'd be rude not to greet them, don't you think?"

He looked that direction. If the city was a phone, and someone got angry at it and bent it in a u shape, THEN they bent half the u shape upward, that would be the shape of the city. The landing spot the air riders(Anubis and company) landed on, would be near the center of the u bend, which led to a small cave, which led to a flight of stairs, which led to the city streets. Luke looked around the area again.

He shook his head in disbelief.

"Sound good?" He asked Raijda.

"Hopefully, that sentence ends with something along the lines of the looters leaving with a full bag of riches, or something along that line. For a certain dog's sake anyways. Not naming names." Flint quipped, carefully stepping down behind Khun, and being careful not to trip and send both of them plummeting to their doom.
"Sleep is due to me... And I have a dream to live."

"WEEEEEE!!!" Reginald said, of course anything but scared from that experience! "I didn't know we could do that! AGAIN!"

"soon after our visit we can go again Reg. Im here for more than one reason of course."Anubis said smiling as he helps levi to his feet and begins to make his way into the town itself. As usual everything seemed much the same.the U shape was symbolic much more than just for design. The fox soon approaching the gate before entering the city and coming to a stop. His eyes scanned everywhere before he looked pleased.

-------

"Demigoddess. You cannot play yourself above what you truly are, else you only play a higher power thats beyond yourself. Then hubert may test you with such."Kritaros said as the two arrive to a large chasm. The large fracture easily over two foot ball fields wide and endlessly as long. The small fox looking about before he tapped his staff to the ground and smiled. "in the end your still mortal as i am Monique.Despite the power a god can hold. Take the chasm for example it is as deep as needed and nought but rock and ores. But it also holds a danger and secrets with that. It does not pretend to be more or less. Not just because it cant but because it also isnt more. If a god blessed it to hild more ore itd be a mine and a chasm nit a god as well." Kritaros said as he looks to monique. And then points across to a doorway.

It was like a dance. Patch going one way to the left, behind Amber, catching the dagger mid air. With Amber doing the opposite, going right. Patch's body was at an angle, a fist on the floor supporting him, looking down, holding the dagger out backward. Which he then turned around and tossed to Amber. Amber caught it, throwing it back to her opponent, after which, she flipped behind an potted plant for cover.

"I had that," Amber growled to Patch. Patch nodded.

"Yes you did your majesty," he replied, grinning. Amber rolled her eyes.

"What's my opponent's name then, Avaros?" Amber asked.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"My dear equal, that was hardly playing myself up," Monique replied, "I am simply asking for the requesting that my seemingly fortuitous sudden status change be at least acknowledged without distrust. One, Kritaros, might say the same about you. What gives you the right to suddenly be a divinity? And more also, the right to question whether or not another should be given that same right even with the same blessing from the same higher power? I ask you."

Then, Monique didn't fly, she teleported from one end of the chasm to the door.

"Well now, catch up," Monique said to him, her voice sounding as if she hadn't left. (But in fact, had.)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Well now, good thing they have the blessing of a demigoddess to be let alone, hmm?" Monique said, in a somewhat threatening tone.

"Now now Monique, if we steal treasure we deserve our just deserts," Khun said, holding up a paw as he said it.

"However, once we get into dolphin territory, Hubert said that so long as we respect it, we'll be let off with a small bit of booty," Khun said.

Hubert, you told me not to worry. But I am a mere mortal and can't help it. What is the difference between us and them? Do forgive this small creature of little faith for beginning to worry at what our martian friend is saying. Khun thought to Hubert.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Luke kissed Raijda once more.

"Glad you like it, and yes they are," Luke said, "Now, I THINK I know where our visitors are headed. If we can keep a brisk pace we should be able to catch up to them." Luke patted his stallion's left flank.

"I dunno if you guys can run on this concrete comfortably," he said, and before they got started, he turned to Raijda, "No, I've not ridden a horse. I've ridden an antelope."

"Let's get going! Kick-kick," Luke said, tapping the stallion's side with his right foot. He was still grinning inside.

Thank you, Hubert. Luke thought aloud.

After being teleported to a special place to perform their duties and marriage, Akki and Erebus were teleported to his home by Monique. Kikku was teleported with them as well so Erebus could fulfill his duty towards her. Kikku was teleported back with Ichabod and Talli. Who was talking with a couple lycaon females still.

Kritaros shook his head at monique seeing as she made her choice of crossing. The demogoddess would find herself near a rock wall staring straight fown into the abyss before runes woukd detect a magic presence and send her back to the otherside. "your questions towards rights is what shows your lack of experience my dear monique. I was a god for generations before i became a spirit upon mortality. No one has true right to divinity. To add i am not questioning your blessing from our equal lord. I question your mortality that you lack to grasp onto. Your mind is set on being a goddess which can lead tou astray and into things you dont understand. Much how like the door is protected by runes. You cannot cross this chadm through other means. It has to be walked." Kriataros said with a small smile. "this cave in the past tested all those who had magical abilities and limited there use. After this chasm comes another door and finally a test mind. Although ive been here before it would be a good way for you to learn as well"

xhunterko wrote:It was like a dance.
This time, the answer came in the form of...a spear! So hard it was thrown, it broke the marble and stood stuck where it was!
From the shadows, the lioness emerged. Her body was rippling in its perfection, her fur a study in tattooes, but rather than masking her shape, they added even more sensuality to it as she stepped on, another spear held in her paw. Perfect jade eyes looked at the cougar with hunger. "I am your opponent and your mentor, chieftain Amber Argon. I am Koros of the Sunshadow Clan, daughter to the High Shaman Avaros." her voice was like a distant thunder rumbling in a clear sky.

xhunterko wrote:"Well now, good thing they have the blessing of a demigoddess to be let alone, hmm?" Monique said, in a somewhat threatening tone.
Hubert's voice replied directly into her mind, unheard by the others. <The difference lays all in intentions, my dear. In the end, the custodians of that booty care not for its value, for it has no value at all. It is just rocks and metals fashioned to human tastes.
"Yet, for those rocks and for that metal, humans and animals killed. The curse is strong in those objects, and only with a pure mind you can reach to them. It is fate. And you better hope your friends will not sway into the path of greed, or never they shall come back. Just like those who preceded them>
Flickers of light illuminated a monstrous pile of bones. Several species had been gathered for their last resting place, in a tragic pile as tall as a building.

ooc: Slight edit, got names mixed up.

Monique had just bout had enough of the impudent character. But before she blew up in his face, she decided to take a breather and talk to the one person she knew would listen to her.

Time seemed to pause for Khun, but for those around, nothing out of the ordinary happened. Khun was a bit confused at first before Monique appeared to him and grabbed him by the neck and sobbed into it. He rolled his eyes and waited a few minutes, tapping a foot, THEN she started talking.

Oh dear, Hubert, please keep this conversation private between us, thank you. He thought to the cosmic dragon as Monique spilled out her frustrations. Khun simply put one paw to a chin as she paced back and forth. Eventually, she got done talking about Kritaros's perceived to her blatant lack of respect to her. She stood there breathing in angry fumes. Khun waited.

"Done?" He asked. She sighed.

"What, what do I do?" She said. He rolled his eyes again.

"You are not going to like my answer," he said, Monique winced, "And since I figured you are not going to like my answer, you already knew my answer, so, here's why: do it to show you are willing to show obedience and humility. There is only one person on this island who can REALLY test and try you, Hubert. It was he who appointed you, and he alone who can remove you. Be an example of putting your faith and trust in him for everyone else to live by. I know it's frustrating, but it's for the best. And if you can't deal with this problem, how can you be expected to deal with the bigger ones? Do it for yourself, if anything to have experience for the next one."

Monique sighed.

"Urgh, fine," she said, "But, I don't walk very fast, and how do I path the path of an invisible path?" She looked up at him.

"Says the bat," Khun said, and snapped his fingers.

"But I don't have hey!" But Monique found herself standing next to Kritaros again, sighing. Things had returned to normal now. Khun new that when he snapped his fingers he was never in control, Monique let him send her back out of respect. Monique looked up at Kritaros.

"Well now, that's a little unfair as I cannot walk that fast now can I?" She said to him.

"Do I need to repeat exactly what Hubert said again?" Khun asked, "You are going to get away with something. How much depends on how greedy you are, heh."
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Amber visibly swooned so much so she nearly tipped over!

Oh darn, I'm already married! She thought. Still though, she thought to herself, not that she'd leave Luke and Raijda for anyone, it was difficult to keep her mind off the near perfect specimen before her. Amber got up and gripped the spear, TRYING to clear her head, taking a defensive pose.

"This is not going to be easy, good," Amber said, "You are quite the splendid thing to look at, I hope you know. Avaros should be proud."

Patch giggled at poor Amber.

"Ohhhh this is going to be tough for her," Patch said, "Still though, Avaros, as head of security, I need you to show me some things here."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Luke facepalmed.

"Big horn sheep," he said, as the horses headed down the way, "I was thinking of that old west song. I wonder why they would write about deer and antelope when the antelope aren't there. It's the pronghorn instead. We've our own food stash of big horn in the Mantauq territory, and as usual, kids are kids, heh. Funny isn't it?"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Akki giggled.

"You will probably not like it," she said, looking up, "But I always thought it'd be a thing to reach the stars." Even though the sky was blazing blue with the bright sun, her eyes had a dreamy look about them, she sighed then looked down.

"Too lofty?" She said, looking back at him.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Nikki" giggled at Falstaff.

"Well, do the two of you know the way to the circus from here then? It's a job, they don't usually come get you, eh heh," she said to them.

Koros bowed her head in aknowledgment. "I thank you, Chieftain: After all, I am my parents' daughter and I am supposed to give them a good litter to carry on their inheritance...but if I am to recognize *you* as worthy protecting the Fourth Tribe, I will do what I must to make you worth of such role. No magic, no tricks: just the pure ability of your body and mind to go beyond their limits." This said, Koros grabbed her spear with both hands, stood on attention as if in front of a parade, closed her eyes...and stood still. "Now, at your own wish, attack me. Do not restrain yourself."

"I guess it is. My ancestors were European, from the Low Countries. Where they lived, there were a lot of sheep...Oh, I imagine you know that Tricana has its lot of them, eh? Not big, but wild. Humans brought them here during their big war, but soon lost any control over them. They adapted quickly and are hard game to catch. But if you get to breed some, they give a fine wool and a tasty meat -so they say, about that last part."

Kritaros looked down to Monique and smiled. "Come now if i told you that it wouldnt be called a test of trust or belief now would it? and itd be cheating if i told you since ive done this before.....to start why dont you look around come with ideas of some kind and ask questions as you solve this question yourself. walking slow has little to do with crossing." Kritaros said as he looks at the door. "as you no doubt felt already the door is protected my runes that will detect and eliminate magic of any kind. we cannot teleport across and we cannot fly or hover or so on. and we have no equipment to use a rope or success fully climb down or around." Kritaros explained as well to show he would help hint towards the correct method. the fox smiling kindly to monique and sitting down some to watch how she would solve the problem of crossing a chasm. the chasm itself still seemingly impossibly deep and dark the rocks wet and jagged along the walls the door only humming a faint power about it in the distance that cast its own light along the rocks.

Anubis looked to Levi as he picked reg up and set the pup on his shoulders. "Many reasons, mostly to explore and have some fun. pass through so to speak. as to another reason as a shaman myself i am curious to how the tribe is faring."

Falstaff chuckled and raised his big arm. He tapped the bracelet at his wrist, then pointing at the cats'. "When you need to find a place, just use this. Here, I'll show you." He tapped twice at the bracelet. which started glowing, then said, "Map to circus, from current location, please."
And then the bracelet projected a tiny holographic projection of the route the three had to take!

"Well now," Khun said dryly, "You already have a limitation set on your reward, now don't you? And would you prefer some reward, or none at all? I'm sure the latter can be swiftly arranged, ya know?" With this, he added a peer down into the stairwell with an eyebrow raise.

"Nikki" giggled at Falstaff.

"Eh heh, well there you are then!" She said, "Let's get going!"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Monique sighed.

There is nothing worse than asking how to draw a cloud and getting just look up in response. Hmph. She thought to herself.

"Well, there is one conjecture," Monique said, "That I can see is if I were to step out an ice bridge would form across. Since, obviously, we can't totally cheat and bypass it by just flying over like we should be able to." And here, she stepped out into the chasm.

Amber knew the training method well. Anything she did would be deflected. This she knew. But she did know that if she did not practice or challenge herself she would not be able to defend her family in this new territory. Still, she knew ONE thing or two and hoped to be at least impressive.

Her attack came from behind, having quietly crawled all the way around! Amber waited for her trainer's critique.

"Ah, my apologies," Patch said, "I'm going to assume we have no enemies in here, but."

Here, he spoke quietly.

"Surely, you have back ways, passages, tunnels, escapes, that need to be catalogued and addressed, do you not?" He asked. Sonni began to meander her way slowly up the temple floors towards the roof.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Well, that was the idea," Luke said, "Catch some goats, breed them, sell the meat and cheese to trade. I guess that can still be the idea." He reached over, took Raijda's hand, kissed it gently. He then let it down and looked about the city.

"I wonder what these are for, I guess we'll get to them eventually," Luke said. Behind him, the other members of the tribe were settling into their places near the palace where they could be of use, the couples settling into homes. Luke looked behind him, then back forward.

"Monique, I don't suppose it wouldn't hurt, to show them where the food stores are? If you would please?" He asked.

Already done. Came her voice in his head. He nodded.

Akki was a bit surprised!

"Oh, you don't? None of your stories had tales of traveling physically into space itself? Stepping on the moon? Saying hello to Venus, or settling a home on Mars? Tell me you jest!" She said, putting her arms around him.

Koros' answer was...fast! So fast that the cougar had barely the time to see the other lance hitting hers, while a clawed foot pushed her away. All in one move.
For all the eye could see, the lioness didn't look as if she had moved at all!
"Again," she said.

It was Avaros to answer to Patch. "You are right: There *are* many escapes around the island, but hiding forever does no good, especially when you need light, food... In a long war, a shelter is nothing more than a long death. Those who cannot fight must find shelter of course, but the warriors must do their duties. Always"

'Mmh, I dunno." Flint shrugged. "Maybe just have it around? I wouldn't have to rely on anyone for stuff I guess..." He grumbled, sounding a bit distant. A silent second passed before he glanced over at the faerie and seemed to notice how he was acting. "Or y'know, maybe get enough so I can afford something here." He puffed his chest up a bit more and grinned. "I ain't sayin I'll settle down or anything but on the off-chance I might want to come back, it'd be nice not to fall asleep in the sand."

Monique would feel herself fall into the chasm for a moment before her footing reaches something solid, it was rock not ice. it was then that Kritaros stepped next to monique and patted her head. "again no magic can be used so how would an ice bridge form? especially when the bridge is hidden from your eyes. look over the edge and see the truth" The fox said as he walks to the door on the other side and taps the runes once with his staff to open the door itself. "you may fly now if you wish. the runes are not active for now, the rock naturlly built itself to mimic the chasm, it is a natural camoflauge you could say. no disrespect towards your "power" but as a demigod you need to learn humility and respect yourself. Like yourself two others could be the same but hold much more experience in the matter." Kritaros said smiling as he looks over the edge and waves a ball of light to allow monique to see into the chasm to spy a river at its bottom silently flowing and the bridge about 5 feet thick of rock that blended with dark colors and light to seem invisible in the dark to the naked eye.

"you made quite a choice even if correct. its called a test of belief because it is one that only those that need to prove themselves go through trusting that our great god will provide,
the next one is of the mind and one of the soul. In the past the leaders knew this route already and its secrets. im here to see if those same secrets have been taken or lost with time. those who prove themselves can take what they wish from the center"
Kritaros explained with a sly smile.

Meanwhile Anubis looked about as him, Reg and Levi would reach the gate leading into the city where the cougars and the tribe of big cats would reside. the fox looking over the towns entrance with ease before stepping inside and waving about pointing out historical facts and past memories for reg.

"Oh. So...a body that does not hunger would do, for example?"

Levi, as all house cats, had at least a healthy respect for big cats. Levi specifically admired the ones that regularly climbed trees which cougars sometimes did... he thinks. so it was interesting to see where the ones on this island lived. he listened to the fact, probably at least outwardly less excited about them than Reg.

"Word of advice pup," Khun said, "The proper answer to that question is no. An undead body is not a healthy one."
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Monique face palmed at the reveal. She SHOULD have known better.

"An ice bridge can be formed with means other than magic," Monique said, flying across, settling on his shoulders, "And if it's as old as you say, I doubt anything's happened to them."

"Oh dear, what happened?" Nikki said, observing the empty hall, though at the same time, silently scanning the room with magic to check for the stealthily hidden.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Amber huffed. If she were going to leave a new mark on that beautiful body, she'd best be faster. She knew she should pace herself. She tried again, faster this time.

Patch nodded.

"I was merely thinking of the safety of the royal families," Patch said, "Even with the best warriors, they will still need to defend themselves in someway."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"I read about that somewhere," Luke said to Boomer, "Though, I'm not sure if it can be used for cheese."
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"That sounds like a plan," Akki said, then she waved a paw around the complex, "Show me around?"

Flint already had his mouth open as Khun began to speak, and slowly closed it afterwards. “Mmh... I don’t think I’d give up the luxury of food anyways.” He crossed his arms and gave a soft snort. “I knew it was a trick question...”

"Lunch break!" said a gorilla, walking on his knuckles. He was eating a sandwich made with some salad and something that had a distinct odor of banana. "They are exploring the new town. Staff is going ape over that, the director is burning his brains thinking of some new show to play in those streets." He took a bite off the sandwich. "If you want to get hired, you should talk with him, tho. Oh, and I'm Oscar. Charmed."

...And it didn't get better even this time.
Koros didn't sound any upset or snobbish when she spoke. "Again. But this time, think out of the pattern. Don't focus on what you want to accomplish, that much is clear even to a newborn kitten. Focus on *how*"

"Gladly, my wife," and with that, he proceeded to point out those buildings who stood out. "The House of the Ironsmith. Metal is rare on this island: Making the best use of it and recycling it in new shapes is a fine art we wolves cultivated for generations, together with the lycaons.
"That is the Granary, or at least we called it so as homage to our ancestors' home, for cereals are another rarity: Here, we all process the foods and preserve it. I don't know how humans today work their food, but our way is still valid.
"And there stands the entrance to the Market. See? Once we all have settled, there will be activities running day and night, keeping scores of families busy. You will find everything you need, there. Too bad our library is still an empty place..."
Erebus' eyes took a sad light at the memory. "At its peak, it was a treasury vault as much frequented as the market itself..."

The faerie seemed satisfied with that answer. "Smart you are. There's still hope for you."

The ape finished eating his sandwich, then shrugged. "Meh. We always call it 'lunch break', you never know when you get one. The boss's quite stern when it comes to training, and he's right: We must hone our talent every possible moment, it must come as natural as breathing, or the show'll be a failure. So, you are the new guys, eh? I noticed you showing off earlier: you're a nice team."

"Define 'too good to be true'," the faerie teased him. "Sometimes good things happen to whom they deserve, eh?"

"I am Ora, the Flying marvel. Me and my small friends there do a flying number." She pointed at what looked like rows of lightbulbs...but revealed to be glowbats as some of them unfolded their wings and greeted the newcomers.

Back in his body, Tojo blinked. He felt like he had been squeezed and whipped inside out, and for a moment thought of poor Janus who had had to endure such experiences every day...
But for now he had to find Levi, and SOON! "Divinity, can you hear me?!"
<Of course I can, my child,> the voice came soothing into the red wolf's mind. <What is it that you need?>
Tojo nodded. "Please, get me in touch with Zach Drake. I need to talk to the dreamwalker now!"
He could almost see the divinity nodding, as the answer came, <Then do so.>
And the wolf put all his will into that call. <LEVI! ANSWER ME, NOW!>

Amber took a deep breath, she knew the training process, but, she was a bit, distracted. She calmly walked up to the lioness and took her pose and closed her eyes.

"Show me please?" Amber asked, waiting. This, she thought, THIS is why there are training montages in media.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"What she said, and besides," Khun said minding his way down, "This is the only way out. And I'm pretty sure my sweet baby didn't give theses magic suits the flight ability, heh."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nikki waved to the globats as they descended. Hiding in Falstaff's head fur.

"Although, Falstaff, that IS quite the bracelet," she said.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Oh, big horn sheep Boomer," Luke said, then he asked his wife a question, and got a more interesting story than he bargained for! But it was worth it. He listened to his wife intently, smiling when she was done.

"Oh, big horn sheep Boomer," Luke said, forgetting he had told her that already, "Even though we have to scrap with the local natives sometimes." Luke's ears perked up. By now they could almost hear Anubis giving the history lessons and descriptions of places, he tried to pick up what he could.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Akki nodded.

"And where is our den, then?" She asked.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Well then," Monique said, flying up to Kritaros's head fur, "Let's see if we can't get to that center."

Anubis stopped and looked about as he looked to Levi and smiled ""so levi are you the only dreamwalker? that you know of" Anubis asked as he soon spots Luke atop a horse up ahead and chuckles giving them a wave. the fox stopping his lessons and setting Reg down to the ground. he bows some to Luke in kindness and shows a smile. "Hello Cheif Luke.".

----------------------

Meanwhile.

Kritaros and Monique would make their way through the caves at a fairly reasonable speed many different splits would appear leaving much confusion seeing to the same four way split of design and looks at least 3 times. At the fourth Kritaros chuckles and taps an archway before heading down its path the echoeing ring of bells could be heard up ahead before a light shone bright and lit the path. a single door stood blocking the path with a simple question. "ah the door of history.... glad to see thats still here....magic can be used all you want but it will not open and you cant push it open.
the question on the doors ask "here i stood broken and undone, i travelled far and wide with hope, i was built again and brought peace against hidden eyes. yet here i stand broken and lost seeking a path of light.....care to take a guess at what it talks about?"
Kritaros said to monique his staff reading over the ancient heiroglyphs and symbols of many different languages within the gold of the arch of the door.

"well I assume some of the shamans can do it too, but I don't know any others personally." Levi answered. but soon they were face to face with who was apparently the chief of the cougars? he's only met a few big cats in his life. this is the first time without glass or weird pocket dimensions involved.
"Oh, um... pleasure to meet you, chief." he wasn't sure of the etiquette for meeting a chief when your friend who knows him didn't introduce you. He definitely wasn't the bowing type. "My name Levi Drake O'Salisgrave, Dreamwalker. Anubis was just showing me and my pup around."
