"The boat then! Mommy, let's take the boat!" He ran for the nearest one, laying on the beach.

"heard that, boys? Time to show if you got some muscle as well."

valerio wrote:If possible, it was even more impressive seen from that point of view: the steps weren't tall, in fact they were so low that even a pet such as Tacite could easily walk them,
But they were *large*: a crowd could walk them. And at the right sight, at regular intervals of 10 steps, there lay the remains of statues. Animal statues, enormous if the feets standing and the paws closed in a fist laying against the feets were an indication.
"Imagine what must have looked like, back in the days," Virgil whispered, awed, to Tacite
Tacitē was in awed written silence for a long time, taking photos every so often. "Virgil. It's all so huge! It's a little bit intimidating."

"The landing pad," Gilestra answered, while the helicopter smoothly went for it.
After it landed, the rotors started to stop moving. The door opened. "Now, if you please, there's a lot more to see. We have just started."

Seen from this perspective, the building seemed to emerge from the thick forest, as a part of it rather than an artificial construction. Since the weather was growing bad, there were few tourists around. "The humans and their pets must be enjoying the indoor activities. This place has its own sports center and many other things."

Virgil held out a sort of package to Tacite. "It's a poncho, for the rain. Ah don't want ya t'get all wet. It will protect y-ou from the wind too." Even the other tourists were putting theirs on.

"'Tourists' are...visitors. Travelers, those who come to another place to relax for a given period of time. In your age, this was something only the upper classes could do because of economical reasons. Now even the other classes can take some time for themselves. There are the remains of an old settlement somewhere on the island, where rich people would go to spend the season. As for the lycaons, well, this particular breed was born in the last century. They resemble a lot their ancestors but they also got the looks of a new dog breed called German Shepherd. But if you want to follow me now, I can see you get a drink. Instead of ponchos, Drake and Dianna both had on weather resistant coats. "I'm sorry we can't give you coats like these, but Ponchos work just as well," Dianna said.

"Now let's head up these stairs. watch your step, they probably get slippery when they're wet." Drake said as he started walking up the steps. "We'll give you some facts about the mountain as we climb."

"We were watching for over there." He pointed using his black paw to a tree not far from them.

Excuse me, but do you need some assistance? She thought to him.

It took all of the ferret's might not to topple over, "Oh, I'm sorry for that." Tacite held up her notebook from beneath her poncho with a smile and a whistle, but she quickly retracted it to write again, "I don't think it's good for your book to be exposed to rain. As wonderful a medium it is, paper does have it's imperfections." the page she wrote on was still the one with the sketch of the ruins

Specialy made for this in russia." anubis explained showing an empty page the pieces of bamboo showing slightly, he then took his pencil and easily marked a line on it then erased it off. "see? Its a great thing i can check for an extra if youd likke one?"Anubis asked
"I see." Tacite scribed, "I would appreciate one of those books very much!" she flipped to a new page and took a few more photos of the scenery and one of Anubis, "May I ask your name? I am Tacite Gull."

Anubis smiled after blinking his eyes at the sudden flash. "im anubis, i dont have a last name." anubis said marking where he was with the half finished picture. After he reached into a pocket in his bag and pulled out his extra journal. The russian markings on tye cover distinguishing its design. "dont mind the russian lettering all it says is 'exploration notes'.....this scenery reminds me of south americas mountains." he said after with a pause in between as he looked back at the distance. He opened his journal again and continued to draw the last of the picture. Looking back at tacite here and there.
