Lars nodded in agreement. ''Ah yes. Silly me. That wouldn't be fair too, would it?'' Lars said stepping closer to Levi, towering over the feline. ''So if it's dodging you're good at.....DODGE THIS!'' Lars said, stooping down quickly. Using both of paws to support himself, he swung a muscular leg at Levi's ankles to knock him to the ground. Smiling with a toothy grin, he jumped up in the air and cocked back his big arm, diving back down and aiming his big paw at Levi's chest!

Randy had been watching all of this ever since he got teleported away from caressing Salina's bulging tummy which held their cubs. His jaws were agape after meeting a newly transformed Lars for the first time, and had been amazed by his prowess and intimidating stature. But Randy began to grow tired of all of this. He tapped on Yago's waist during the small demonstration between Levi and Lars.

''Uh hey...Shaman Yago...I think I would like to spend more time with my wife Salina. I've been away from her too long. And especially when she's expecting. I need to be by her side to support her.'' Randy said.

"Your concern is appreciated." The lion's eyes flashed. "Go in peace."
Randy disappeared.
And found himself back on the beach near the village

Wondering if he was dreaming and in reality he was out cold on the beach still. It took a moment for him to regain his composure and stop himself from wandering around. He turned to his rabbit companion and laughed a little. From what he remembered, the brochure did not say anything at all about this.
"Okay this is probably the coolest thing I've ever seen." Lucky said. "Do tourists come here often?"
Lucky said as he absentmindedly inspecting a few of rabbit-made structures. Almost like a giddy puppy. Which, needless to say, attracted a few stares here or there. His only response was to wave at them and smile.
"The cave and tubes used to be part of the magmatic network," Stojo said. "So the humans said. We dug up the ventilation tunnels, our houses and the bridges. The living lights you see were already here. With time, we adapted to these conditions." He showed his eye: his pupil had definitely grown! "Not the most ideal, but it's better down here than being prey species outside. Here, nobody disturbs us, so no we don't have many tourists. But we have what we need." He started walking toward a steep staircase built in the stone. "Come, I'll show you to my place. I hope you don't mind extended families."

Within a blink of an eye, Randy found himself on the same spot in the village where he had been communicating with his guardian spirit Ereba and his wife Salina. His eyes widened as his wife came into view. He quickly went up to Salina and hugged her tight, giving her an intimate kiss.

''Oh my wife....Please forgive me if I scared you a lil' by dissapearing....I promise I'll be home most of the time. I'll fill you in when we get back. By the way...'' Randy said, using a paw to stroke her bulging belly. ''How are they? Our cubs...'' Randy asked, gently bumping his moist nose into hers and placing his paws on her shoulders.

Lars thought he'd knocked Levi's ankles out from under him.
and of course, he had. But the cat immediately leaned forward. When he hit the ground, he went directly into a forward roll underneath the dog, so he was now standing behind Lars. He quickly turned to face his opponent. "About as fast as Prowler. I'll have to keep my guard up."

''Indeed.'' Lars said, chuckling. Lars may not have been Amun the Trickster but being the jester that he was, he lifted his thick busy tail and whipped it across Levi's eyes, stunning him temporarily and making him flinch. This bought Lars some time and within a second he whisked around to hit Levi in the gut with the pad of his paw. He had to be careful not to unleash his full destructive power. He had the potential to kill...even without weapons..or his Shaman powers!

''C'mon Levi....is that the best you can do?'' Lars said, slowly making his way to the fallen cat, towering over him with an intimidating shadow cast over the feline's form. ''You may fast kitten, but speed isn't everything. Without strength to counter, your enemies will eventually catch up and you'll be at their mercy.'' Lars said, squatting down and smiling at the cat.

"Without any disrespect to you and to your people, Ambassador, then I suggest your brethren start mixing blood with the lycaons as soon as possible. Nothing like a bond of love to start changing people and keep life preserved."
Balkan frowned.
"With all due respect, Mr. Spencer, the war began because the wolves couldn't 'mix blood' with the lycaons. The wolves and the lycaons may alone create life with the shepherds, but between a wolf and a lycaon... If things don't work out that would just push us into another meaningless war. But even it might be able to work out - wolves will never accept forced mates. Both lovers must accept each other and go through the rituals before becoming mates. Lycaons might not like it."

"Oh I don't mind at all. Back home I live with my mom and dad, all of my siblings, my brother's girlfriend lives with us too, and sometimes Uncle Joe stays over. Though I don't think he's really my uncle, just someone dad knows. And there's also our owners who live with us too." Lucky smiled a little as he followed the rabbit. His imagination ran on autopilot as he tried to imagine how large a rabbit's family might be. And just how strange Stojo's might be. He would just have to find out. Though he did have one question he could not keep from asking. "Your family won't a big strange dog right?"
At the end of the day I often think about what I have done for the world. What I have changed, perhaps made better or worse. I then sit at a computer for hours and look at pictures of cats.

Levi got the wind knocked out of him when the fist hit his gut. Luckily, parkour requires a fairly strong core, or that hit might have seriously messed up his insides.
he coughed as he sat up on the ground. "Yeah, I admit I'm not the strongest cat around..." he began to stand. "but I'm nothing if not persistent," he added as he quickly jumped up onto the dog's shoulders, wrapped his legs around his neck, and covered Lars' eyes.

The huge shepherd yelped as he felt Levi's paws digging into his eyes, causing Lars to flail like a fish out of the water. ''Oh that's sneaky, kitten! Real sneaky!!'' Lars yelled as he whipped his arms around to catch the little guy riding on his shoulders. ''But do not forget, I'm a shaman and I am JUST AS PERSISTENT AS YOU!!'' Lars roared as he finally felt and caught hold of Levi's scruff. Using a firm grip, he grabbed the loose skin and dragged the cat away from hugging his face area. With a grunt he threw him to the ground again and roared, curling his lips back to barre his fangs at the cat.

''Imagine that I'm your enemy Levi! What will you do?! It will take more than that cheap stunt to bring me down! GET UP AND TRY AGAIN!!!'' Lars shouted, intentionally teasing him to make him learn. Being both a shaman and a military combat expert, Lars had many years of experience to back it all up.

Surprisingly, Levi had hit the sensitive nerves and veins exposed around Lars' ankle/feet area, which made him flinch. Lars had been successfully thrown off balance and the giant shepherd toppled to the ground, face first!

He howled in pain as his muzzle and snout hit the ground, writhing in pain and using both his paws to soothe the broken sensation. He felt as if he broken something, and blood was already gushing out from both his nostrils!

''YOU....YOU FOOL!'' Lars cried out, hugging his nose.

"No, I will not do that unless someone comes up with a working idea!" Balkan replied with a harsh tone "I won't give them false hopes... not to the four of them... they stood by me while I was taught by the wolves, I stood by them when they needed help. They're my friends. Giving them false hopes will mean that I'll lie to them! I won't lie to my friends!" The half-wolf sighed and calmed down "Sorry, I am still part wolf, I get like this sometimes..." he paused a bit "And before you say anything - I lied. I do have an idea, given to me by Dimitar... It will be costly however..."

Lars stood up and wiped his bleeding nose, using two fingers to snap whatever which was broken back in place. ''Sounds like a great idea!'' Lars said, stretching his muscles and uttering a few words. Within a few seconds, the shepherd had his shaman marks and eyes glowing with a brilliant cyan. ''Levi, may I suggest that you reconsider your request, for my power is not to be underestimated..'' Lars said with a metallic voice. Lars snarled and growled as he began outgrowing his normal height. It didn't take long before he was now taller than a tree which happened to be nearby. Levi appeared to be the size of a rabbit to the gargantuan shepherd.

Lars laughed as he swiped at the kitten, grabbing the frail little thing in his giant paws with a vice like grip. He brought him close to his eyes which shone almost as bright as two suns. ''DREAMWALKING YOUR WAY WON'T MAKE YOU A WARRIOR, LEVI! FACE ME LIKE A MAN! IF YOU MANAGED TO MAKE ME FALL THE FIRST TIME ROUND, SURELY THERE IS SOMETHING ELSE! AS FOR NOW.....LET ME SHOW YOU MY POWER...'' Lars said, beginning to crush Levi.

Darkness disappeared as they proceeded along one of the bridges' networks. It seemed impossible not to get lost, there were no signs, no indications. The scent of the rabbits was overpowering, a predator would have wasted half of his body water in drool. "Veepy? What's that? One of those funny humans words?"

"Just about the same idea, really..." he answered "Either you humans think all alike or it's the only option..." the half-wolf sighed "Still I don't like the idea to take of your time, nerves and wealth for the wolves. It's a matter of pride, you can say."

Spencers smiled at that. "Then allow me to indulge in my onw pride, for wanting to mend what my peers did to the wolves, decades ago. We brought a new kind of war on this island, now it's time we brought the seeds of life. Ambassador, any day spent without new blood is one day faster toward extinction: and you must convene with me that it would be a cruel waste. So, if you agree with me on this course of action, go spread the word, collect the names of the chieftains ready to accept, and then I'll do my part and bring the new blood."

Stojo chuckled. "Oh, lucky you are, and even more than you think. For example, you met me, a new warrior. You see, after decades of living here, roots and occasional sungrown vegetables weren't enough anymore." He grinned, and only now could one see the double row of small, sharp teet. Definitely not a herbivore set! "Sometimes we send a scout, someone the uplanders believe innocuous and cute, then we draw that unfortunate here..."

The dog frowned a little as he looked at the rabbit and then at himself. He was by no means a thin dog and with his gimp leg he may as well be a walking buffet. He gulped, realizing that this was just how a rabbit might feel being led to a wolves den. He grabbed at his lucky tag before he began to speak. "Uh don't think me rude for asking, but the moment I walk into your home I'm not going to be torn to shreds by hungry rabbits am I?"

He paused for a moment, realizing just how weird that sounded. It did sound like the sort of thing that would be carved into his tomb stone. The thought was macabre, yet at the same time humorous. "Here lies what's left of Carter Abbot, the rest was eaten alive by cave bunnies."

Lars said, stretching his muscles and uttering a few words.

Levi eeped as the giant dog grabbed him. as he felt the paws begin to crush him, He did the only thing he could think to do.
mom... make it a trip for two,
before he was completely crushed, he imagined a large trapdoor to the spirit realm underneath his opponent... and opened it. The two fell through together. Hopefully, the shock would cause him to let go... and his mom could stop the other spirits from killing Lars.
The two fell through into the alley from the last dreamwalking.

The sudden drop into the spirit realm through that portal Levi created widened the GSD shaman's eyes as he flailed, instantly letting go of of the cat in his paw. He hit the ground with a thunderous thud, shaking the realm for a brief moment, then getting up slowly, snarling and letting out a loud roar of pain.

''Very clever and sneaky as usual Levi. But I ever doubt you can do better than that!'' Lars voiced boomed out, trembling the walls of the alley, and his tattoos illuminated his surroundings.

He quickly spotted the cat and cast his eyes at him. He uttered a few words, then bent down and used a finger to flick him over so that he was facing him. ''Have you ever wondered...what it's like....to have power in your mind...'' Lars said, his eyes instantly turning a golden yellow. He then proceeded to release a steady wave of psychic energy from his mind and directed it at Levi's brain, causing a gradual headache to build up and weaken his senses.

''I assume you won't be persistent after 5 minutes of this. You can choose to give up now, or I can intensify my psychic attack. Your choice.'' Lars said, teasing him further.

Without a sound, without a flash -the figures just appeared, as if they had been there all the time. Dozen and dozen of souls of all species.
And they were looking at Lars.
With hunger.
In a moment, attracted by the potent, vibrant vital aura of the canine shaman, they reached out to him. Singing themselves, if such term could be applied to ethereal beings, against the shaman's mark, but inevitably drowning his defenses...
---
"Goodness, no! I told you, you're guest of a warrior. If you met one of our youngsters or a female luring you in here, *then* you'd be the main course in a dinner."

Levi felt the headache growing, but he was more worried that there was something off. The alley they were in wasn't quite the same as the last time he was here. He could catch glimpses of the raw spirit realm, as if the illusion was breaking and revealing the truth of this place.

"I'm sorry Levi. I can only protect you. You shouldn't have brought him." She was standing behind him. "you need to get him put as soon as possible if you want him to live."
"Lars, we might want to call a truce. We need to get out of here, and I'm the only one of the two of us who knows how."
he also reached down and grabbed the medallion Koros had given him earlier. "and we may need your help sooner than I thought... warrior." he whispered, realizing he never asked the warrior spirit's name. "I don't think I should open a portal back to the city with these spirits crowding around, so we need time to get away."

Lucky sighed with relief and nodded as he stood a little closer to Stojo. He was actually afraid of rabbits for a moment, how ever was he going to explain that to his father? It didn't matter, that was something to worry about for later. All that was important was that he was safe and not stranded on the beach with the not so friendly wildlife populating the island.

"How much farther until we get there? oof so much stairs..." Lucky panted a little as he raised his leg up step after step. He had never seen such steep stone stairs anywhere else in his life.

Stojo indicated a cluster of houses at the end of the bridge. "There. it's even straight ahead, see?"
Problem was, those houses looked so tiny, and the bridge so long... And there were so many cave rabbits looking at the newcomer with that...interested look.
"So you a cop dog, you said? Why don't you try and apply for the local police?"

The dog gave a nervous wave to the rabbits staring at him. Still paranoid about the whole luring people to their doom thing associated with these cave rabbits. It took him a moment to snap out of his cautious state of mind and answer Stojo's question.

"You know that's not a bad idea." Lucky mused. Island police officer, it would be like Hawaii 5-0, but in real life! Get a nice view of the beach, meet interesting people, bust the bad guys once in awhile. It would practically be a paid vacation. Then again, police dogs are there to protect the innocent. From the looks of things, there was a little conflict between the predators and prey. "I'd probably have to get a visa or something, but I hope they could use a good sniffer unit."

Balkan nodded "The elders at the Green Ring would say that it is only fair that those that destroy should bring the means for anew beginning as well." He sighed and smiled "I never really gave much of a thought to that, really. Ended being the very truth." The half-wolf grinned "Though it would be fun to witness outsiders and lycaons going through the wolf bonding rituals."

Lars head nodded in agreement, but subsequently whisked around to and fro as he sensed many spirits surrounding the both of them, all aiming to get a bite out of the giant Shepherd. Some had already started draining his spirit energy by singing a haunting lullaby, which had already begun crushing his spirit force and defenses. Lars did not have a countermeasure, but he closed his eyes and uttered a few sacred words, putting his mind in a meditative state. This reduced his speed and strength, but at least he had a barrier which lowered the rate of absorbing Lars' spirit force and immunity. But he had to move fast, and Levi too!

Ilia was summoned out after Levi had whispered into the medallion, with a spear and shield in hand. The translucent blue Lycaon guardian barred her fangs at the spirits as they began nearing the group. ''The name's Ilia, Levi, and I am your guardian. I shall help you both fend off these spirits bothering you, but you better get Lars back to the realm of Tricana fast. He isn't immune to this realm, even as a powerful shaman. Be quick dreamwalker!'' Ilia said, dismissing the formalities and trying to hasten the pace in the short quest.

"Excellent! I will be waiting impatiently your reports. Now, I understand it may seem odd to ask, but I would like a number of those who will agreed to the idea, divided by villages and sexes. I want to make sure everyone's needs are satisfied so that wolfkin can prosperate once again, without causing another turf war."

"well opening a door right here isn't a good idea so..." he looked around for an escape route to get away from the spirits. "bingo," he said as he spotted a fire escape ladder to his right.
"Let's get up to the roof," he said as he ran over to the ladder. It was out of his reach right now, so he ran up the wall thenpushed off, grabbing the ladder. It fell down to where his mom could climb up with them, If she even needed the ladder to get to the roof. "I'll open a portal and we'll be back where we started." he began climbing up. "Ilia, stall them until we get out."
