Flint confidently strode off the beaten path and towards the undergrowth. "So i can cut through here right?" He kicked some stray twigs in front of him and picked up a bigger branch. He examined it and dubbed it a good walking stick. "Stay out of wolf territory, check. Anything else i need to know?" He swung his new found stick around in the air enthusiastically fighting an imaginary enemy. He stopped mid swing when a thought occurred to him. He looked at the seagull. "And are you gonna come along for the ride?" Slightly hopeful a knowledgeable bird might accompany him in his travels.
"Sleep is due to me... And I have a dream to live."

Lars helped out his two female companions with the cooking of his catch despite the exhaustion he was experiencing, and it didn't mind him much as the constant checking of the edibleness of the fish and lobsters raised his concentration and kept his tiredness at bay. He used a blade to cut open the tail of the cooked lobster, revealing the scrumptious white and fluffy meat. He carefully curved his blade inwards and dug out a huge portion, gently blowing of the steaming heat and walking over to Diana.

''My love, this is for you.'' Lars said, steadily holding the blade with the meat and holding out his paw over it to prevent excess from dripping off. ''Thank you both for training and taking care of me.''
---
''Uhm...so hey guys, when am I gonna be starting duty officially? And will I be doing it with you guys?'' Tiara asked, now trying to forget the passing of her best friend Mae. Life needed to move on anyway. Her eyes had been stinging from all the crying she had been doing and at least she had Kaiser and E.R for company. All that mattered was working hard for her promotion, that's all that mattered now.
---
Randy smirked gleefully as Salina grabbed him by his arm and rushed him out of the hut. ''Awww baby what's takin' us so long? Where're we goin'??'' Randy moaned playfully, almost limp.

"I already ate and was getting bored, so why not? Oh, and about that 'anything else' you just mentioned..." J-Li pointed his wing tip at the ground. Something like a large cable was right in front of Flint's path. At a glance, the thing had a diameter of 3 feet and it was covered in a shiny black material.

"You don't have to thank us. We worked together in this. There would be nothing to eat if you hadn't hunted and then lit the fire. And you would suffer from stomach pains if you had eaten this fish raw."

Kaiser patted his companion's shoulder. "You take care of her, all right big lug? I trust you on this."
The hulking rottweiler flashed him a grin. "Don't worry. For now I won't ask her to have my pups!" Then he turned to Tiara. "So, lady, let's start about your qualifications: what have you been exactly trained for?"

"We're here, my love." She stopped in front of a large, circular opening framed in solid granite. A serpent's head, carved in granite as well, with diamonds for eyes, looked at the two newcomers.
"Members of the three tribes of Tricana still come here to prove their adulthood." her voice had assumed a tone of reverence. "my brother too came here in pilgrimage and sustain the test. He passed it, and that is why he is trusted to be the next chieftain." She turned her gaze from the snake's gem eyes to Randy. "My mate, if you believe in our future together, if you believe you have changed, if you believe you have won your demons, then go and come back unscathed."

''Mmm...'' Lars hummed in agreement. ''At least, take some, because I believe in taking care of you too. And I want you to feel loved like how you love me. Here...'' Lars said, splitting the piping hot meat and gobbling his half. He gently wrapped a big arm around her waist and held the lobster meat in front of her in his paw. ''Before it gets cold..'' Lars said, smiling and planting a small kiss on her cheek.
---
Tiara nodded and proceeded to answer E.R's question. ''I've been trained to detect and hunt down intruders in both homeland and strategic places of interest, and I have been equipped with the skills the lead a team against threats which endanger civilian lives. I have been trained to use my weapon against foes and am a qualified Sniper. I am skilled in interrogation and I have experience working long shift hours Sir. It's my job and I did all that to be qualified to be here. Do you need my qualification certificates. I got them right here..'' Tiara asked, pointing to her gun bag. At the same time, she couldn't help but notice E.R's attractive stature. He had a body to die for!
---
Randy gulped but he did not falter as he was brought to what seemed like an entrance to a snakepit ((i assume it is?)) of some kind. He could already hear the faint hissing noises from the entrance and the serpent's head had already struck fear into his heart. It pumped blood over his entire body at a fast rate and he shook a little. But still he stood his ground. He felt like puking, but that did not stop him from taking a step forward, acknowledging the acceptance of this daunting task.

But still he turned back and looked at Salina, his lovely wife. If it wasn't for her, he would be dead by now, and she was the only being on his mind that kept him going. ''Salina...wait for me..okay?'' he said, going back to her and giving her an intimate kiss, holding her waist.

E.R. was definitely impressed. He whistled. "Well, then I guess it'll be easy to find something for you to do. Let's see..." he skimmed trhough the clipping board he carried. "There! We need someone to cover night patrol against the rabbits raid. It will do, for a start. And I get to lead the team, but that's only a coincidence, I swear." He grinned.

"well, I hope that all works out," said Levi, turning towards the direction of the forest. "Hey, I think I read somewhere that there are monkeys on this Island. Monkeys pretty much do parkour, which means they probably know a few places I can practice my skills. think I could meet some of them, or do they keep to themselves?"

''I'm pretty sure I didn't take you lovely Lycaons out here just to watch me doze away eh?'' Lars said, giving her a kiss as well and staring at the burning fire. He then got a fish off the makeshift wooden grill and cut some meat out for her. ''And this is for you, my love.''

''Oh...well that's great then! Can't wait to get started. I was informed about those darn rabbits too. Heard they could be somewhat of a nuisance at times.'' Tiara said, smiling with her eyes still fixated upon E.R's. Such a handsome male. Could he have chosen a mate yet? Most probably, but Tiara wanted to try her chances. After all, she fell in love with the environment here more than the city life.

''Uhm hey...er...E.R...was just wondering...would you uh....like to have dinner with me sometime soon? I'm uh...not sure about the eateries around the island and was hoping if you could uh...recommend me someplace nice we could go together and feast.'' Tiara asked, blushing a little, hoping that her intentions weren't too obvious.

Randy nodded and approached the entrance of the snakepit, the adorning head of the serpent still attempting to intimidate the Spitz. With a huge breath inhaled, he exhaled and stepped in to the granite cave. The hisses got louder and louder, and soon, a few smaller snakes came into view. Randy freaked out, but didn't stop moving. Darkness overcame his sight as he moved deeper within, and soon he was out of sight.

Totally blind to his surroundings, his senses started to heighten as he felt the sizes of the snakes getting bigger and bigger. He could feel them. Their long slender bodies slithering over his body to another rock. Many of them hissed aggressively as he passed by, but Randy was determined not to be perturbed by mere hissing sounds. It did not even cross his mind that some of these reptiles could be venomous. He just kept moving, inspired by the will of Salina's love.

If the white-furred was scared by snakes, this must be his nightmare incarnated!
The corridor opened on a cave. The floor was covered by a slithering mass that produced ghostly shadows under the blue flames coming from openings in the naked rock.
Snakes protruded from other openings, and an eerie light came from the back of the cave.
"Welcome, you who come to face your shadowsss," said a voice. It seemed to come from the end of the cave, where another opening waited, or from everywhere? "Come, come and prove yourself worth."

Tiara wagged her tail. The restaurant would have definetly been her choice, but she had high hopes that a relationship with E.R would spark in a tropical atmosphere like a village. A woman was dozing on the back seat, her eyes covered by the large brim of her straw hat. She wore a tank top and shorts with a floreal motif.
Without moving, her arms still crossed behind her head, the woman said, "Hi there, kitty boy. Looking for a trip?"

Lars said, licking his lips. ''Hm. Alright then. Leseee...'' Lars said, closing his eyes. He concentrated and soon enough his soul was out of his body, this time without any complications. Her heart beat wildly in her chest as E.R revealed his true stature under that uniform. It took a while for Tiara to adjust her composure, but she couldn't help but swoon and gawk lovingly at his big bulging muscles she had never seen in her entire life. After a while her heart melted instantly like hot cheese.

''Ha..haha...oh yes...s-sure...'' Tiara said, walking towards the big, bulging and handsome Rottie, using his arm as a support for her constant flailing body. Her face was now blushing like a tomato. She batted her eyelashes at him, playfully hinting him for attraction sake.

''W..where are you?'' Randy called out.

Lars shrieked as the disappearance of his muscles flooded his mind and drove him insane. He gripped his new slender body and shivered, longing to hop back inside!

''Indeed I have been contaminated, but I have been cleansed thoroughly. That I can assure you.'' Randy said, speaking up without any nervousness. Lars shrieked as the disappearance of his muscles flooded his mind and drove him insane. He gripped his new slender body and shivered, longing to hop back inside!
Athena put her paws over his shoulders, in a gesture meant to calm him.
"Relax, now just relax. This was supposed to happen. in fact, the easiness with which you performed mean that our bond is strong. Should one of us being in danger, you will be able to come to our aid. Now exhale, relax, and stand up. don't leave this body."

His stubby tail wagged. "Not a boyfriend so far? Really, what a shame!" The sand sort of crackled under their feet. The sea washed placidly in the distance, the sun mitigated by a cool breeze that made the trees rustle. "Or should I say luck..?" E.R. added, while his arm wrapped around her waist.

The cave itself seemed to exhale a heavy, rhythmic breath. Now a sloshing sound could be heard from the opening maw. "While your courage does you honor, your naivete does not, Randy."
As if those words had been a signal, the snakes became angrier. Their malevolent eyes all gleamed at the dog, as waiting for the final command finish him off.

''Gah! H..Okay...okay...'' Lars said, breathing heavily. Despite the constant freaking out that he had just entered his soul into another body, he noticed that he wasn't tired and that it took him no more than a few seconds to transit into Diana. The swift progress astounded him. It was a big leap from the ''dolphin'' incident.

Lars slowly stood up, taking in steady breaths of air as he did so. But he smiled as he felt the strong muscles of Diana's body, and her heartbeat, and her breathing. For a moment it felt so divine. ''Huh...wow...this actually doesn't seem really hard!'' Lars said, finally calming down and stretching his new body.

Tiara's heart skipped a beat as she felt the warm arm of E.R envelop her waist. Soon, the tragedy of her best friend became a thing of the past as E.R's care and concern for her replaced that, and she was finally smiling again.

She tip-toed and gave the hulking Rottie a small kiss on his cheek and nuzzled into the side of his body, rejoicing her new found love.

Randy, once terrified, had suddenly become frustrated. What was this voice trying to say? He was here to battle and conquer his fears, and not to play any more games.

''Listen...'' Randy said in an irritated tone. ''I came here to face my fear of you creatures. The demon Sylar had been cast out of my body, and I am convicted that there will be no more filth entering my soul. I came here because I love my wife, and I want to prove to her that I am her mate and I am WILLING to take on anything that comes my way. I am a warrior of Salisgrave. I will defend my wife and village...and for shadows, I WILL HUNT THEM DOWN.'' Randy declared.

"Fool! Do you think this is a game?! You're here to be judged or DIE! You will walk out of this cave or your flesh will feed me, there is no other way out!" The roar faded to a quiet rumble, the sloshing sounds less pronounced. Whatever lurked in there, it had quieted down...or so it seemed.

Flint looked over to where J-Li was pointing. Like he said, there was in fact some sort of large rope like thing in his way. He walked up to it, still not really sure what it is. "Hey, J-Li. What is this? Looks like some telephone cable... But I though there was no electricity over here.". He looked at it for a moment before he decided, like the curios canine he was, to poke it with a stick. And with a determined look, he did. Several times.

A rustle of leaves preceded the appearance of a shadow that obscured the sun behind the gray-furred dog.
A low, hissing voice said, a moment later, "Is there a reason for you to poke my body, unrespectful mammal?"
The voice of a snake -and not just *any* snake, but a monster that towered for over 10 feet over the poor canine.

Flint froze at the sound of the voice emanating from behind him. He slowly turned around to face the towering black body that was blocking the sun. "Holy carp...". Was his only remark. He stood there rigid, still holding onto the stick. His mind yelling "RUN!!!"but the message getting lost in translation before it got to his feet. He felt the urge to whisper. "Please don't eat me...". But his mouth didn't seem to be listening to him either.

A forked tongue as big as an arm darted out to...lick at the canine's chest. It quickly darted back in.
"Phew. You reek of terror. And I ate my fill already, anyway. Who are you, stranger who also smells like one of the fishermen's boats?" The thing moved his head to eye level with Flint.

After the initial adrenaline wore off Flint found he regained his motor skills. He took a step back, avoiding the gaze of the giant snake. "I'm...". He paused for a second, trying to avoid saying his name. "A traveler. I was going to the resort.". Flint said warily. He examined he snake's long body. Its scales were pitch black and it's body seemed to stretch on for miles. "You.". He concluded. "Must be a Titan boa. J-Li told me about you. Well, not YOU in particular just...". His voice trailed off. Flint's usual charisma inhibited by the fact he was talking to a big snake.

Minutes, perhaps half an hour passed with the Spitz kneeling that way, and the breath from the cave the only sign that the...thing was still there.
If Randy had lifted his eyes in that time frame, he would've noticed the snakes had slithered quietly away, clearing a path straight toward the maw.

"Hey, nice move there! You do parkour little guy?" Justine started the car toward their destination. "You'll like the place! Everything is like it was built, in 1855, except for some restructuring because of the sea salt. The only hi-tech allowed is the kind one can carry with oneself. Horse-drawn carts, quiet lifestyle and dogs. There is a GSD breeding farm, known in the world for their champions. Hope you don't mind canines, little guy." She chuckled.

Adrian opened his eyes and looked around his room, he groaned and rolled out of bed he took a few moments to stretch and let his joints pop. He had been seasick most of the way to the island and he was still feeling the effects of crossing a few time zones on the way, he felt like crawling back into bed and going back to sleep but he decided it'd be best to have a look around the resort first.
He muttered to himself as he put on his collar and fixed his headfur
Maybe I'll hit the gym for an hour or so... He didn't really know why he was still making a habit of staying in shape, it's not like he had another competition anytime soon, but it was an old habit he couldn't seem to shake.
He exited his room, making sure to double check the lock before stuffing the room key in his collar. He had no idea where anything was, someone had told him when he checked in but he hadn't been paying attention. He started walking down the hallway hoping to find some kind of sign or even better someone who knew their way around.
