"Parker!" Alex yelled as he finally ran into the clearing. He stood there with his hands on his knees, panting. "I-I'm sorry!"--Alex coughed --"I should have made sure that Darren wasn't in the snowball and I shouldn't have reacted that way! Alex tried to stop panting.

Ahab smiled as Alex sprinted back to the park, "Don't worry Addy, everything is going to be okay now." He said as he picked her up again, putting her on his shoulders. He ran after Alex, making sure that Addison didn't fall. When they arrived, he set her down and walked over to Alex and Parker. He saw Parker hit himself in the head, "Dude! Parker, don't hit yourself in the head! That probably hurts!" He said, concerned.

Parker looked slightly annoyed. "So what if it does? I need to learn to be more careful!"
He looked at Fran. "Darren got thrown at me in a snowball. It's my fault!"

"STOP IT! STOP IT! STOP SAYING THAT!" cried Wendy. "It's NOT your fault! It's not possible that it IS your fault! So STOP SAYING IT IS!"

She burst into tears. She hated herself when she yelled, but she couldn't stand to hear him talk like that.

Parker looked at Wendy, his eyes open in complete surprise, for a few seconds. Then he snapped out of it and said, "...Yeah, sorry...I get carried away sometimes, thinking that things are my fault, and... I didn't mean to make you angry..." He looked down again. Then he looked back up. "Nemo, you take good care of Darren, you hear?" He had a fire in his eyes that screamed, "DO NOT HURT HIM."

Fran blinked. "He was in the snow? Well, is he small enough, but...I thought he would be smart enough to not be too close to a snowball fight."

Darren was being checked out by Nemo, but he turned to Fran. "I was just trying to have a little fun in the snowball fight. I was sure to stay out from under the others' feet. But, I got hit pretty hard, accidentally by Addison...I was in a daze and I wasn't able to focus while I got thrown. I probably shouldn't have joined in, but it just looked like so much fun." He noticed Wendy crying and Nemo was losing focus. At the mention of a vet, he grabbed the Corgi's chest fur. "Listen here, I'm not going anywhere until Parker's had his say. I'm here for support...as a friend." He pulled the Corgi closer and whispered into his ear. "Besides, Wendy needs you more than I do, right now."

Nemo was, despite the fact that Darren was one of the only ones in the neighborhood smaller than him, scared when Darren grabbed his chest fur. He nodded, "Y-yeah." He repeated. He did blush at what Darren said about Wendy. He just nodded after that. He assumed that Parker had heard Darren, and he looked at him expectantly as he walked over to Wendy, standing beside her.

"Wh-What are you doing here?" said Wendy. "I'm all right--I'm not hurt."

She heard what Parker said and nodded in acknowledgment.

"W-well, Darren is okay enough to walk, sort of, and he wants to hear what Parker has to say." He told her, blushing a bit. He looked to Parker as well, listening to what he has to say.

Fran muttered, "And, I thought it was bad when he somehow got stuck in a drain pipe...THIS is probably worse."

Parker climbed on top of the bench he was already standing in front of. He looked at all of them...

"Alright. MOST of you know about the situation with my sister, correct? If not, here it is: For as long as I can remember, I've owed my sister, Autumn. When I was a year old, I had developed a case of Liver cancer. It was severe, and the doctors had to remove most of my Liver, or I would have died." He waited for a little bit of acknowledgment before he would continue.

Parker nodded. "I did. The treatment was simple; just a removal. But nothing is ever that easy. From what I've learned, the Liver can grow back if there's over half of it still there. But the doctors would have had to remove more than that. So they needed a donor. And who better than my sister? My body wouldn't reject her organs, my DNA is too similar to hers. So they did it. They removed as much of my liver as was necessary, and transplanted a good piece of hers onto it. Both of us healed over fine, eventually." He paused. The explanation had taken a lot out of him, but Parker wasn't done. Not yet.
