Sorrow: Just donated blood and passed out when it was done. Then got told I can't donate again for a while.

I'm so frustrated right now over that.

You can only donate blood once every... 40 days? The fact that you passed out probably means that you need to put a little more weight on (and you are pretty thin) or eat a healthier dinner the night before (think: carbs) and a better breakfast that morning.

And thanks for the congrats, Seth!

Sorrow: I was just reading through all of my old posts this semester... Good golly I was cranky and miserable towards myself.
Joy: But it's over with now, and I feel great!

Yeah I know this is a joy but I have to buy new clothes now: After losing 40 pounds this year, my only pair of dress pants are just ridiculously too big on me. And since my job requires them and I've got adult things to do now, I need clothes that actually fit me. My pants are too big, my dress shirts are too big, my sweatshirts are just so ridiculously large on me now that I look like I rummaged through a Salvation Army bin half the time. On the other hand, I can fit into a lot of stuff that used to be way too small on me, so I've got a back up wardrobe.

It's not a huge deal. That was really nice of you to donate blood, nonetheless!

Don't be, it happens. Did you pass out immediately? If not, didja eat the cookies and drink the orange juice they offered? That's what those are for.

I passed out after they were done. I didn't actually feel bad until the moment they stoped.

And I should be clear that they said they don't want me to try donating again. Ever.
I had some kind of bad reaction that included a small spazam or something when I was out. That was the reason they didn't want me to try again.

There's still no reason to be frustrated over an uncontrollable physiological response. It's awesome that you wanted to help and actually did so! If you're no longer able to donate blood, you can still help others in a large number of ways.

Well, I may be able to donate again in a few years, so that's why I said "a while" the first time. But it is what it is.

Joy: I just saw a friend I haven't seen in 4+ years (At least. May be more than that). He's doing extremely well it seems, and I'm happy for that.

Stay alive! and no reason to be frustrated. you did you best to help others!
I just have to hit 17 to donate my blood, still a year and two months to wait. and I'm either O- or O+
Sorrowish? : my arm was reacting to some kind of material, I may have to take allergy test again.

sorrow: just missed the Dean's list with a 3.45 or so.
Joy: That's still pretty good so I can still take a sort of luke-warm satisfaction from it.

Sorrow: I feel today like depression may be setting in, AGAIN. :( Been in a cycle of sadness, anger, misplaced venom, dark thought, self-loathing, and frustration.

Sorrow: I can be a kind, generous soul when I wish to be, but evidently, I'm also capable of being mean, selfish, cold, angsty, impatient, melodramatic, and diva-istic. Makes me wonder sometimes if I've ever done anything without a selfish motive.

Joy: Well, I'm alive, that's something. :)

Sorrow: My sister is foolish. She is going to work over 24 hours straight across 3 different jobs, finishing up with one where she will be driving around. She acts as though there is no option, but she accepts every job she can get, and never asks off. This is also making us have to delay our Christmas celebration because she refuses to ask off to be with her family for once.

Joy/sorrow/I honestly don't know: My sister found an abandoned cat and had her bathed and the parasites removed and stuff and she finally convinced my dad to let her keep it. I should be happy because I really love cats but I don't know because we only just lost cookie a few weeks ago.

Sorrow: First thing this morning (Yes, even before my alarm clock went off) was my mom yelling at me for the books she found on my bookshelf about equality that she doesn't like.
Sorrow: I was too upset to concentrate and I ended up getting a speeding ticket.
Sorrow: My dad never got me the updated insurance information so I got another ticket for that.
