Edit: Cat's been hospitalized. She is having kidney trouble and is dehydrated.

Sorrow: Talked to my philosophy porofessor about my final paper and long story short need to restart it pretty much from scratch. Which I really don't have time for.

Joy: Christmas tree is up!
Sorrow: Our new dog wants to chew the ornaments on it. Hopefully it doesn't require drastic action like wearing a mussle.

try leaving the parts of the tree that he can reach bare.
or buy that stuff that's supposed to deter chewing by making them smell bad to dogs.

Sorrow: Its 7:22 in the morning and I have to take a 2 and a half hour writing exam. I can't wait for this weekend.

Joy: Getting stitches removed today and didn't have to go to school thanks to it.

Amen for college brother, I only have 2 more weeks. Then no more classes until January 23rd.

Sorrow: My grades in a couple classes (the two I've already had to retake once) are nowhere near what I need to pass and move on to the next level course.
Joy: one of them, if I qualify, my grade on the final will be used as my grade in the class, so I'd only need to get at least a C on the final to move to the next level.
Sorrow: I'm about two points below the lowest test grade average I can have and still qualify for that.
Joy: my professor said that that's close enough that he'll still let me qualify, so I only need a C or better on my final to pass the class.
Sorrow: I'm pretty sure I need to show that I know the material I failed on the tests, so I think I'll actually need a B+ or higher for him to feel okay with passing me.
Joy: I have a study plan that will hopefully help me with that. Even the professor noticed that my biggest problem was blanking on formulas I needed for the tests.
Sorrow: none of this helps with that other class, which I'm fairly sure I'm going to have to retake again. :/

Hope: I'm hoping my dad won't pay much attention to which courses I take, or that the billing statement doesn't tell him. Cause I'm hoping I can choose (and pass) courses so that retaking one more course won't affect my ability to graduate on time.

Joy: The project that I thought was due tonight is actually due tomorrow! (Today is far too busy for me to have finished on time).

A confusing one: Thanks to my mother's passing, I now go to a school where I only have to go once a week. This would be awesome, except for the circumstances.

Minor Sorrow: There's a pretty high chance we won't be getting a tree this year. Not that it really matters if we get one or not, but this is the first time in many years that we decided not to get a tree.

buy a fake one. then you'll always have one.

I can attest to the value and convenience of a fake tree.

Joy: Only one more set of classes, and that'll be it for the semester!

Sorrow: Two essays to write before 0900 tomorrow.

Joy: I feel really good about my paper for my shakespeare class. I might actually get my first college 4 point!

Sorrow: My brother wanted me to pay $50 for the call of duty seasonal pass maps on sale now. I didn't mind buying it for christmas... But... That's pretty expensive for a bunch of maps. I also pointed it out to him that he's looking for me to pay $50 for a bunch of maps for a online shooter. I don't like the idea of paying for money just to get a bunch of maps, but he literally started whining and complaining so badly about it, but i had to tell him no, it's not worth the money. I hope he forgives me for it in the future =(
