A while back I asked you all if I did the right thing by running out rather than facing that former boss of mine. It turns out that they are not finished with me. Even though I had been fired from that job for over seven months, it has gotten back to me that they are trying to pin some missing items on me. Obviously they don't have anything that resembles actual evidence, so being unable to bring charges against me they have decided to slander me! They can't have me thrown in jail so they have decided to do their best to destroy my reputation.

I hate them. I hate them so very much.

Sorrow: My mom inadvertently told me and now she feels terrible.

Sorrow: My hand was nearly crushed yesterday in carpentry and hurts whenever I put pressure in the wrong spot.
Sorrow: This is bad because I play the cymbals and have a parade tomorrow. I got to be careful not to hurt my hand more.
Sorrow: In my pluming class, I have a partner that is just very hard to work with sometimes. He doesn't think some stuff through and because he forgot to glue together three joints on his half of the project when we tested a week ago, it leaked, then broke.
We then had to literally cut and glue it in so many different ways so we could replace the part he didn't do right that the entire thing is just one big patch. It's so bad that if it fails this time, we are just going to have to replace everything. And looking at some of the gluing jobs he did, it could very well leak and/or break.

Joy: Got a parade with the band tomorrow. Even with my hand I'm going to have a good time.
Joy: My i-pod came yesterday and has worked great all day. I CAN FINALLY LISTEN TO MUSIC IN SCHOOL!!

Sorrow-ish: While listening to my i-pod, I found that two of my songs (Well, more like one. It's the original and a remixed version) have a line in them that I had heard before but never really thought about. I don't think I can say what it was here, but it really shocked me when I actually found out what it was saying. It was just... Not the kind of thing I need my class mates thinking that I listen too.

you could probably say the name of the song and we can find the line for ourselves.

We tested it today and guess what? It leaked and came apart.

Joy: We were actually able to fix it without just starting over again.

Sorrow: Before it broke, it was also leaking in another spot. So that means that spot will probably break when we test again next week. And if it breaks there, it's over as far as fixing it. We won't be able too, just going to have to start all over again.

Joy: My interview went well, I will have to wait another week or so before I know if I have the job or not

Sorrow: I've almost been screwed again by this friend of mine last night. Even after he promised he won't. Only after I begged him not to that he stopped.
Sorrow: Definitely seeing the PTSD now.
Sorrow: Not much joy in general this week, and last night's event sealed the deal.

I'll need that milkshake too

IT's a joy and sorrow for me to finally quit World of Warcraft today. I plan on returning someday since it's my most favourite RPG out there, but it's at a point where i really don't have anything to do in the game because lal of my friends are spread across servers in that game. despite Blizzard's awesome fixes for friends across servers (you can invite them to your party), i've learned we just don't do anything anymore and i think i need a break from the game until then.

This should also give me some time now to visit the Housepets Forums alot more often now too though! go-go-crazy theorist ideas!

Joy: Finally got a bunch of money that has been owed to me since the middle of the summer. It feels good to have some cash again.

Joy: Got to go bowling today! I did really well (163 is one of the best scores I've ever gotten) and had a good time with friends.

Sorrow: I can never get my mom to understand one crucial thing.

Joy: I was driving around today and had some fun

Joy: Went to a friend's gig yesterday, had a bit to drink, and all around it was a royal laugh. They played ridiculously well for their first time, and the punk band that was on afterwards were just incredible.

Joy: Did some filming for a friends movie today, and I am so glad to finally get back into this. One of my fav' hobbies is making videos, especially the editing, but due to being busy I've not had a chance to do anything until now.

Sorrow: I have a strange feeling something real bad's gonna happen now or tomorrow...

Who cares, I only have eight months left of living here: So for the past few weeks, my parents have done nothing but shriek at me and degrade me and call me names when I'm trying to get ready for my future beyond this place, and I'm just not dealing with their crap anymore. I either don't deal with them by never being home, or I stand up for myself instead of lying down and taking verbal abuse. My dad just came into my room and got in my face and screamed at me some new empty threat. I really can't tell you what it was about because I was thinking about planning my school's food drive to feed the hungry this Thanksgiving. Something about "one week to improve my attitude or I'll shut this off and cancel this" and blah blah, whatever.
In two weeks, once marching season is over, and now that my car insurance and phone bill have reached record lows ($100 a month for both combined), I plan on getting a job to 1) Not be home and 2) Become financially independent of their crap. I have until June to leave for the summer college and I'm gone. I just can't deal with this anymore. My parents (particularly my dad) don't even know who I am anymore, all they want is the compliant little five year old girl that they used to have.

I can't even imagine what that would be like. Your parents want their 5 year old daughter back, while what my dad wanted me to do was "grow up and stop watching those stupid cartoons on TV." Whenever I couldn't figure something out, he would always go off about how I have to stop watching so much dumb TV that he always saw me watching. He didn't even take the time to realize that I stopped watching so many cartoons and only watched a few every now and then. And to be honest, I probably watched them because he was telling me not to. (Don't get me wrong, my Dad wants to support me in anything I do. Whether that be collage, the military, or even if I just wanted to mow grass or dig ditches for a living. Just as long as I'm making money and staying on a decent path in life)

Even if he's gotten a lot better I know how that can feel.

Hey, at least y'all aren't 22 when your parents are trying to control you.
