Sorrow : I have to turn in my essay which I'm horribly nervous about today.

Joy : I can finally get this dang essay outta my hair.

Sorrow : 3 1/2 hours of sleep and still really groggy, wanna go to bed, get to ride bike to school instead.

Exams Suck.

Sorrow: Today i had acid on my hands, more specifically concentrated nitric acid. It burned a little and i was unable to use my right hand for an hour, mostly because it was covered in sodium bicarbonate to neutralize the acid.

Joy: When I got to work today, a different team's supervisor approached my desk and told me to put myself in supervisor-authorized time, meaning I wouldn't receive calls, because I had a mini-interview. I was whisked to the division manager's office and asked to make a verbal commitment to join our troubleshooting team. The main part of the division takes about 3,000 calls on an average night. Troubleshooting takes less than eight. My job will basically be to ~~play video games all day~~ research my area of expertise.

Sorrow: My best friend/girlfriend is moving out of state at the end of the month, more or less forcing us to break up preemptively. =/
Sorrow: Only pulled a C in AP US History.
Sorrow: Warm weather is gone - its fall/winter.

Joy: Pulled an A in Algebra II.
Joy: Earned highest grade in my Physics class (take that, certain person who I shall not name!) =D
Joy: 170 days until move to New Zealand.

Could be worse, but the "sorrow" portion of my list is significantly shorter then what it would have been halfway through last week...
